I could respond by legitimately requesting from you an answer to:
"
The commandments of Christ where do you believe we can get them?"
But from that brief previously implied empty accusation of yours insinuating I dishonestly
"asked a question I didn't really want to ask" I naturally therefore sense risk (maybe misread on my part) that perhaps you could get on the defensive&possibly leave this conversation if I did, and so instead I will ask you something else, but before I wanna state that:
=> I truly put a lot of thoughts&effort in the comments I post; comments which I really want to post.
=> I strictly ask you things that I really want to ask.
=> I'm not playing games with you&we both know I haven't done anything to lead you to believe I am!
I wanted to touch on that.

(plus the only answer you can give to that question leads to the same follow up legitimate question as the one this post ends with anyways)

Ok, so:
"
The Holy Spirit where can we get it? By following Christ and obeying him."
Why do you believe that?
( now for the same reason the above paragraph addresses, and also because this type of very specific quick kind of back&forth of short comments such as these last few ones here is something that is notably more suited for in person conversation or live chat I'll therefore answer for you; )
( the only answer you can give to that question is: )
"
Because the bible teaches this."
say the bible teaches this
Why do you believe the bible in the passages where it teaches this?

I told you to ask what you really want to ask because I could tell you were trying to lead me to say that we get this information from the Bible. The reason I intentionally avoided saying this is because Christianity isn’t putting into practice dogma learned from the Bible. That may be true for religious minded people. It’s becoming one with Christ. Like the branch grafted to the vine and a husband cleaving to his wife to become singular in thought and deed. The leg doesn’t study how to be a leg. It is connected to the brain through the nervous system. When the brain wants the leg to move it moves. We are the Body of Christ. We are saved because we are in Him, safe. That’s my point. The Bible is a map not the treasure.

lol Thanks guys.
Man I have to admit I find seriously disappointing&irritating to realize that apparently there is no forum feature allowing for CC community members to freely edit their own content.
I'm a perfectionist so that's so unbearable. X_X
(mistakes in my thread here&can't freely edit)

Also, I see that community members can't communicate freely between each other privately with PMs, that's very unfortunate.

Lacking these is tremendously detrimental to the experience, especially freely editing one's own content.
This is the first forum I experience that lacks such fundamental perks which are game changers for a forum.
It would really be appreciated and amazing to say the least if this was resolved!
Well, I assume that perhaps this might have already been mentioned by someone else before me.
Either way, this really is a big deal. I had to voice it.
Hello @MatthewKJV, welcome to CChat. I'm glad that you found us and joined in the discussions with us :)

As for PM's, you are almost there. I believe you need 5 "likes" and 25 posts to create a PM.

As for editing, yes, you have 5 minutes and not a second more (BTW, I appreciate you wanting to get your post right :)).

There's a "Preview" button at the bottom right (next to the "Post reply" button) when you are making a post. I have found it to be VERY helpful, and I always post and then plan on spending the next five minutes carefully reviewing what I just posted (in case there is something that I missed in preview).

The 5 minute editing time is etched in stone/will not be changed, so it's something that you just have to get used to. Shorter posts help with editing too, of course ;)

God bless you!

~Deut

Numbers 6
24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

MatthewKJV: The Holy Spirit where do you believe we can get it?

Hungry: By following Christ and obeying him. By becoming one with Christ. By being saved.
MatthewKJV: Why do you believe that?
Hungry: I intentionally avoid saying "Because of the bible." because many religious teachings labelled as Christian are not learned from the bible.

I agree that's definitely true!
However that doesn't answer the question though.

Why do you believe that this is how to get the Holy Spirit?

@Deuteronomy
Hey, thank you man and I appreciate the info.

Hey, thank you man and I appreciate the info.
One doesn’t “get” the Holy Spirit. Christ taught many things. It isn’t by studying what He taught, that transforms. It is applying it. In the same way, reading about fitness doesn’t make you an athlete. I believe this because I am a new creation. The old man is dead, only Christ remains.

Did you read my answer? If you did, then read it again. I already answered you. How do you think the Holy Spirit interacts with man?

If you adopted children do you think them reading a book about how you changed the lives of others would help them to understand you as a father? God speaks. The problem is that few shut up and listen.

In your hypothetical if that book was the perfect word of God yes of course.
If not then no idea I would have to really know the book to be able tell.

I don't understand why you asked me that though but anyhow man I simply genuinely requested that you tell me where you believe we can get the perfect word of the heavenly Father?
First you say "via the Holy Spirit" then when I ask you how you believe we get that then? you get all weird then I ask a legitimate simple "Why do you believe that?" and same thing happens. Like, these are super straight forward; Listen man! These ain't not trick questions by any stretch of the imagination I'm not quizzing you on facts at all there's no right or wrong answer I'm truly genuinely simply asking you what is your personal opinion on where we can the perfect word of God?

I’m not writing riddles. The Bible was written by individuals who had relationship with the Almighty Creator who communicates with His children. They read Scripture but spoke to God. We too should read Scripture but God has different things to say to you than He did to Noah. Paul’s mission is not your mission. What He said to Adam He didn’t say to you. That’s the biggest failure of Christianity. You can’t even understand what I’m simply stating because it is foreign to you. God wants to speak with you. When you are reborn in the spirit you don’t need to read what He told Paul, who wrote it down for other churches to read. He tells you directly in prayer. The Bible is the way to link up to God to become One with Him. Once you are connected you communicate. Bible is the map, Oneness with God is the treasure.

In short God’s perfect word is the one He tells you Himself.
