Don't have on yourself even one care whatever it is.
• “Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.” (Psalms 50.22,23).
What are we offering to Jesus? Our gratitude or our complaints? The problem is that our lack of alacrity preclude us of getting around to meditate on the Holy Scripture in order to know Jesus better. We, as it were, get away from the main point: to put our way and conversation in the order that Jesus established.
In a way, we want to take the control over everyone and everything, show up that we can hold our own. Why do we wish this for? We need to prove for ourselves and for others that we can handle all the circumstances. However, what is it for? Jesus promised that He will be with us forever (Matthew 28.20). If we can’t feel His presence is because we are very busy with ourselves. We think that He doesn’t respond our prayers because His answer is different of what we hope.
However, if we remember of Him in His ways (and not in our ways – Isaiah 64.5), certainly we will be delectable to Him and His happiness is our strength (Nehemiah 8.10).
Good afternoon in Christ Jesus.
