Blessings

Let them be blessed with talents and skills,
Opportunities, miracles, riches and fields.
Let them be blessed far beyond all measure,
But a walk with Him is the blessing I treasure.
For if your heart's set on learning His ways,
For searching out truth and seeking His face,
In this He will bless you with a great reward,
And all other gifts and blessings are dwarfed.

Your poem is a blessing,
for the truth it holds,
about something so misunderstood.
I have only this,

Strangers in need
Hands, ahungered, cupped row on row,
begged for change of hearts to flow.
Mouths athirst, mourned lost treasure,
For they who walked by continued their leisure.
"Why, pennies shan't quench a spirit so poor?"
"Lord only knows, they'll need much more".
Yea, Lord doth know meek hands are more blessed,
than strangers with love and mercy repressed.
