Oooh I love cats, they are so very cute🤗. Even though cats can be aloof when their tummies are full, they are still loveable creatures. Now dogs.....I had a bad experience with a dog as a little girl, I was chased around my family member's yard by the dog until I fell, only to have the dog stand over me (shudder), praise God he did not bite me, apparently he wanted to play🤦🏽‍♀️... so my opinion of dogs is biased. There are some dogs owned by loved ones that I've come to be very fond off. But cats are the winners in any pet contest for me😁.

I much prefer cats too. They are so hard to resist and so funny to watch.

Since this thread got resurrected.... I have a dog now. Here's her picture. She gorgeous but her people skills still need some work (as in get too close and she will growl and possibly snap and try to bite).

She looks like she is patiently waiting for her dilatory human to throw the ball already.

Or you have thrown it enough and she is wore out and hopes you won't throw it any more. With a dog it's hard to tell between extreme patience and being tired.

With some breeds you can tell they are not going to have extreme patience, so it's being tired by default. But she looks intelligent enough that it might be extreme patience.

She's very patient and I think that was during one of her rest breaks during ball. She gets up an drops the ball at my feet when it's time to play more.

Cats. I can work late hours and not worry about them taking care of themselves.

I'm allergic to cats so cats are out for me. Don't get me wrong I like them but pheww its not worth the runny nose, teared up eyes, and a closing chest lol. For some reason I'm OK with Dogs, though I don't have any pets.

If I had to choose it would definitely be a Dog. :)

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but I just noticed something.

Total votes, 50. Votes for dogs, 30. Votes for cats, 24.

Dogs got 60% of the votes. Cats got 24%. That's more than 100%.

There's some friggin in the riggin somewhere...

I notice the dog votes, total and percentage, are nice multiples of ten. The cat votes look more realistic.

Somebody been padding the dog votes...
