Hey everyone,
This post is related to the idea of lying vs going back on your word vs changing your mind.
If I recall correctly, I told two people that my next school year I’d get to go home from school early on certain days.
Perhaps they weren’t really listening, but still.
However, someone else asked me
if I’d be playing a certain sport next year,
and I said that
I would, if my parents let me
Also, a friend of mine told someone
That I’d be coming back to play said certain sport next year
And I didn’t say anything to refute that
Now the thing is,
Under the current laws of where I live,
I think there’s no (at least legal) way for me to obtain a certain driving license
That would allow me to drive on my own,
And
If I go home certain days early,
I think my Dad would have to go from work, to school, take me somewhere, then go back to work, then later go pick me up, take me to practice, then go back to work, then later go pick me up from practice, then take me somewhere.
Basically it wouldn’t be ideal
Doing said certain sport and having a schedule in which I leave at a normal time would probably be ideal maybe.
Perhaps in the future my dad will allow me to participate in said certain sport or perhaps he won’t yknow
cuz of like COVID, he would probably have to take me places and pick me up at places, and yknow he wouldn’t wanna bother others to have them take me places (not necessarily trying to state that I think that’s not fair)
Also, when I was registering for classes like a few months ago for next school year,
My counselor would ask me (at least once) are we (we, as in me) doing [insert class name] next year?
And I’d be like no
Or I’d be like yes
I think there was a class where we initially added it in for me to have for next school year,
and then later I changed my mind to where I don’t have it next school year
I feel like this segment I’m telling you about is weaker, because at some point I think she told me
(And maybe this was just another time later, or it was during the talk we had)
That if I changed my mind about anything I’d have to [insert details that aren’t important] to get my schedule for next year changed
So basically I think she maybe acknowledged that my schedule for next school year
Might be subject to change on my part
I haven’t really told you guys everything related to this, but maybe for now that’s enough
My question is, what should I do?
