ting the truth of the Lord in your life.
If you can give me a Bible verse about this topic that would be helpful. But we all need to connect to Christians at a time or another in helping understand these things, especially me being a new Christian.
The Lord’s Prayer is a complete guide to prayer. It tells us who to address our prayers to, they are like a conversation with God. We need to address them to the one true God who is Holy. Next, we are to know God is the source of everything spiritual and literal, ask for daily bread. God knows our needs, we can also tell Him about them.

When we address the Lord, we enter His kingdom. and that kingdom has strict rules that govern it, we must know what we ask for must be accepted by that kingdom. We must know it is for our own good, and ask for the kingdom to come. When we live within that kingdom the Lord hears us, God does not hear those outside of the kingdom. We ask for that kingdom on earth as in heaven.

Next, we forgive others for the Lord asks us how we could expect to be forgiven if we won’t forgive, and then comes the heart of Christianity. We ask that our sins be forgiven so that we can receive salvation.

We cannot live in the kingdom of heaven if we harbor evil within us, and next we speak to the Lord about that, asking for His help to live within the kingdom of God.

As we close our prayer, we praise God. As God listens to us, as we listen to God, we

I know that prayer is important for many reasons as Jesus also prayed to our Heavenly Father, it is how we communicate and connect to our God ect
Praying for others also seems to be important, but for the last few weeks I have questioned how that may help people? I know God knows more than myself and He has a plan for everyone and does things in His divine timing and what is best. What difference would a prayer I make to an almighty God that has everyone’s interests at heart make? He knows how things should be done and can see the bigger picture. People speak of the power in prayer and sometimes feel discouraged because some are not answered.
I’m a new Christian and any reply would be helpful as I want to grow in understanding and get stronger with my faith.
Thank you
Sorry I tend to go on to long.. hard to make it short for me. It might seem all over the place. not a good speaker writer like most others.

Hi monika I just watched the other day this preacher that gets the question why pray if God knows everything already? We live in a fallen world where Satan is the God of and God can not ever go against mans will. God was about to judge a nation and He looked for just one from among them that would stand in the gap so He would not have judge "So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one." God also said in Isa Put Me in remembrance; Let us contend together; State your case, that you may be acquitted. "

I know a grandmother that prayed 4 hours a day. So if anyone wanted prayer she ..wow she knew the word of God and she would find the verse and prayed that verse. Every time that woman prayed it was answered. She also would never ever let anyone say "thank you" she said don't thank me thank God/ Christ. So when I pray I find for what ever need it us what His word said. I put my Father in remembrance. Like many years ago we were about to go to Church so I said "Father I know you called but can you tell me again for you said by two or three" Just nice and short. So that night in a Church we had been there for 5+ years 3 people came up to me said "you should be in the ministry you should be preaching" so forth so on. That happened only that night and no one ever said it again.

We know Jesus said what every you ask the Father in my name, what ever you desire when you pray believe you receive it you will have it. What ever you ask He said. Also written you have not because you ask not or your asking wrong. Wrong would be say you need some kind of way to work so you pray for a brand new CAR! Not going to happen. I was in LA walking to work all the time yet one night I have this dream that I am riding this Yamaha 185. A few say later I see this Motorcycle front tire.. all I could see. So I go to the house and ask if they wanted to sell it. They said just take it. That Motorcycle was a Yamaha 185. I didn't need NEW I just need a way..do you see?

Here is where we need to back up. Well FOR ME the key to why He always answers is this "And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him. " I know that I know that I know He always hears me. I know when I ask I shall receive.

Now for other things other people Satan is out there killing stealing destroying. So when I don't know how to pray I pray in the spirit.. NOT to change the sub here.. Luke 11 13 I asked and He gave. So man times I praise Him no matter how I feel read His word .. wait on Him.. And He will talk to you.. out of no where you might think of someone you have not for along time.. Hes telling you in that moment pray for them. You are His sheep and you know His voice. How? You never have to ask you KNOW!

He gave you all authority over the enemy.. why? PRAYER! Its CHRIST in you and you have a sword that cuts to the heart. THE WORD OF GOD! I am not the best speaker writer forgive me I pray you see what I am saying. So take time to be alone and find what it is you want be it something you don't understand as in PRAYER and ask Him. KNOW no matter what you see hear feel KNOW HE ALWAYS HEARS YOU! <---this is written! Don't go by feelings..feelings are up and down all over the place.

If that thought pops up.. whats His will.. Well then read HIS WORD! That WORD IS His will. One major key is KNOWING your Father always hears you and He speaks more than any of us. Do we take the time to listen? That grandmother I spoke of prayed 4 hours a day.. we tend to put this life first. You worship pray what ever then listen. You keep going day after day.. KNOWING He always hears you. Could be one day or a few.. but to be faithful is what He looks for. FAITH! I thank HIm for always hearing me <--not hope.. I just know it. I pray I helped.. NOT HERE to say I KNOW IT ALL.. just sharing what I know. Not here to debate at all. He leads.. He guides you into ALL truth. Ask Him how pray.. KNOW He will tell you.

I think we need to understand God's reaction to prayers of the person who lives in sin without repentance. God knows the heart, even of the wicked, but responds to the repentant person.

John 9:31 We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him.
