Hmm? 98%? Last I heard it was more than 99%.

That might have been a weighted statistic though, trying to compensate for hospitals that claim covid where there is none, for fun and profit.

And to counterbalance THAT, there's probably a lot more people who get covid and tough it out at home because it's not severe enough to go to the ER, or because they don't have the insurance or money for a hospital.

Last I heard it was more than 99%.
The percentage given in post No.40 is relative to global cases. The
percentage relative to USA cases is likely to be lower seeing as how
American sterilization, sanitation, hygiene, and diet are, on average,
quite a bit better than some areas of the world that I could name.

The nations that sell hydroxychloroquine over the counter for malaria have no problem from what I have read.
We are living through the great end time deception.
Neighbor says they tell him he had it, and says it is no more than a bad cold, stands to reason, it is a corona virus.
best wishes

Funny thing about Hydroxychloroquine! Today someone in my RA group on FB used that word to talk about her RA meds. This is a recognized med to treat autoimmune diseases like RA and lupus. I've been on it 3 times, although had to come off because of side effects from long term use in Feb.

FB gave a warning in the post, that it was not recommended for treating COVID. Nowhere to even complain to! FB won't talk to even the heads of groups!

I was so angry. I had to post asking for people to use the word "Plaquenil" for it. Warnings can result in groups shutting down. I'm glad I was able to be on it for the last year, for COVID and RA! Those algorithms need to go! If it wasn't for my ministry in this RA group, I would leave FB the way things are going. Maybe some time we will have move the group elsewhere!

According to the WHO corona virus dashboard: as of Apr 19, 2021 there
were approximately 140,886,773 confirmed cases and 3,012,251 deaths.

That translates to roughly a 97.86% survival rate. (close enough to be
called 98% in the new math.)

So even if you contract the covid thingy, your chances of getting over it are
very good, i.e. excellent.
_

The thing people need to remember is those of us with compromised immune systems may not survive COVID. Besides Rheumatoid Arthritis and the two cancer drugs I am on to suppress it, I have badly damaged lungs from pneumonia and asthma (I am a lifetime non-smoker) heart disease from RA and prednisone use, kidney disease from meds I am on and need, and liver issues from RA meds. I am bedridden without RA meds, tried everything natural nothing helped but strong meds.

If COVID got into my lungs or heart, I could not fight it off, with the drugs I am on.

For those of you with healthy immune systems, it is your choice, but a young 30ish missionary in Mexico almost died of COVID! God did heal him, in 1/2 a day he went from being prepped for a vent, to sitting up and then going to rehab, because he was still weak.

I prefer not to test God, but I certainly understand the many issues these vaccines have. I was eligible for Pfizer, but second shot is in 4 months! Oh Canada 🇨🇦!

P.S. I don't expect this last effort at using logic to work. When it fails I'll just give up and start mocking you all over the forum, I guess. I don't know what else to do. o_O

I just wish you would not so loudly put down people who do choose to wear masks. Calling us idiots is one thing, and I wouldn't even care about that. Trying to make yourself out to be more holy because you refuse to wear a mask is quite another thing.
You pretty much are calling people idiots by saying easily duped and swayed sheeple.
I personally see no reason to put down people for wearing a mask. In my view, they simply are trying to "do the right thing" according to their own belief system and/or they do not understand the truth about what is really going on in the world.

I have in the past worn a mask "out of respect" for people who were afraid and unsure about everything.

At the same time - because I do understand what is going on in the world - I can, on some level, "agree" with some of the 'sheeple'-type remarks that I hear/read. And, those remarks are not always coming from insult-and-disgust; sometimes, they come from sadness-and-frustration.

You see - it is the "fear-factor" of the 'sheeple' that is at the very center of what is causing the whole world to "come unglued" in the present day. If people truly understood what was really going on in the world today, they would stop being afraid and stand together against the "evil bunch" that only wants to make everyone their slaves in a world-wide police-state 'New World Order' system.

By being afraid - because they don't understand the true nature of their reality - they are "handing the world over to the evil bunch" - who are all-too-happy to "take it" since they have convinced everyone to give it to them willingly and passively.

So - please try to understand - those of us who do understand the true nature of our reality - and, who are not afraid - and, who would actually like to do something that would "make the difference" in preserving freedom --- "have our hands tied" - by all of the 'sheeple' who have been "brainwashed" by the "evil bunch" - and, are not willing to open their eyes (and minds) [enough] to see the truth...

It can be very easy at times for those of us who "can see" to get frustrated over trying to get 'sheeple' to wake up from their [brainwash] "dream state" and open their eyes and realize that the true reality is not what they think it is.

"sadness-and-frustration."
Truth- we are clearly guided to not lean on our own understanding and take all things to Him for His direction in what to do. Face diapers included, poison "vaccine" included.
Most of those who "claim" to be Christian don't follow His clear direction nor understand that "all" means "all".
best wishes

So now we only "claim" to be Christians?

I'm supposed to get fired because the boss requires us to wear "face diaper" masks?

Not only are you more holy than we are, now you say we're not even real Christians? We just claim to be?

No mask nor vaccine can pluck us out of God's hands, it is a sEcondary issue. Salvation and the great commission are what is important

Mere salvation is only the beginning, most stop there.
As Jesus received the Holy Spirit at the baptism of John and then imparted him to the 12, and they to the 70 and on and on to today, He also gave the clear direction to heal, cleanse, raise, preach, etc.
Sadly most stop at salvation and fail to grow, hence His teaching of how most would have an "outward form of godliness denting the power thereof" and that is where we are today.
Time will tell if you were clear in His direction or not.
If I don't get His direction one way or another that alone would make me suspect that I have not "waited upon the Lord" as long as I should have.

One of our long-time family friends came down with covid this past week.
His case isn't serious enough for hospital. He can breathe okay but his
tummy doesn't feel right and his head swims a bit too; and of course he's
not very perky..

Ironically, our friend is required to wear a mask all day every day on the job
and yet still came down with it. He's a bit ticked off because he was led to
believe that masking would protect him from the bug.

Whatever y'alls opinion, if the law says wear a mask when you go in a certain place, and you don't, you're a lawbreaker. Which is a very bad way to represent Christ.

Some of you are proud of that when you ought to be ashamed.

I am not aware of ANY LAWS mandating mask wearing.

The world is being led to believe the face diaper will help, it won't of course.
God's protection will help, it has, always will.
I haven't worn the face diaper and won't.
Had an interesting conversation with a man whose brother is a cardiac surgeon in Europe that had a patient with a pulmonary embolism, he removed the embolism and a new one appeared, they removed that one, another appeared. I get from his telling that this kept appearing and is how many who succumb to this are losing limbs because of the virus.
This sounds very much spiritual to me and reminds me of a situation where a person had an implanted chip, supposedly from alien abduction, they could see it on the xray or scan yet when they opened the site it was not visible, there was prayer for intercession to reveal it and then they could see and remove it.
We who claim Christ know that we are in a spiritual war, Jesus has told us this truth and we wage war NOT against the flesh but against spiritual powers in high places.
This may explain why those who give Him first place and are born again, Holy Spirit filled and walking in relationship are protected just as He said we would be in Psalm 91 and elsewhere.
blessings in Jesus name
