The reason behind that is because Satan's essence is within a satanist, and no other unrelated deity can harm the satanist.
Oh, I don't doubt that Satan's essence is within a Satanist:
Ephesians chapter 2
[
1] And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
[
2] Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
[
3] Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
[
4] But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
[
5] Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved)
[
6] And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
[
7] That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
[
8] For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
[
9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.
This is part of the Apostle Paul's letter to the saints at Ephesus.
Prior to their salvation, they "walked according to the course of this world, ACCORDING TO THE PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR, THE SPIRIT THAT NOW WORKS IN THE CHILDREN OF DISOBEDIENCE", and they "were BY NATURE the children of wrath".
Karusa, apart from Jesus Christ, this is YOUR present condition.
You not only need forgiveness for your past sins, but you also need a new nature which only God can provide through Jesus Christ.
Jesus called it being "born again" (John 3:3, 7).
There's an old adage that goes something like this:
One day, a scorpion asked a frog to give it a ride across the pond on its back. The frog said that he would if the scorpion promised not to sting him. The scorpion promised, and the frog proceeded to give it a ride across the pond on his back. As soon as they got across the pond, the scorpion stung the frog. As the frog lay there dying, he asked the scorpion, "Why did you sting me when you promised me that you wouldn't?" The scorpion replied, "I'm a scorpion, and it's my nature to sting".
Like the scorpion in the story, you have a nature, and you presently are "a child of wrath by nature" because your nature is hostile to the one true God. Again, you need to renounce both Satan and sin, and be reconciled unto God through the death, burial, and resurrection of his Son, Jesus Christ, in order to be forgiven and to receive a new nature or to be born again.
This is what God is offering you.
To ultimately refuse it is to willfully choose the very same eternal damnation that awaits Satan.
This isn't a game.
Instead, it's a war for your eternal destiny.
