Miso is fermented soybeans and salt. Because it is fermented, it gives all the benefits of probiotics. It is also loaded with B vitamins and minerals. Two teaspoons a day protects your heart, improves your immune system, helps prevent cancer, and prevents gastro distress such as gas, constipation, diarrhea, and bloating.

It does all this besides giving that satisfying taste of salt.
