I'm Wanting to Pick Women's Brains and Men's Brains About Women for a Minute...

I would like to ask the female counterpart of this question on behalf of of the women.

* What issues do Christian women want their husbands/boyfriends/male friends to be praying for over them?

Most of us have read about the Proverbs 31 woman -- "A wife of noble character, who can find? She is worth far more than rubies."

* Ladies, what can men pray that will help you become/maintain the characteristics listed in Proverbs 31?

* Men, what do you feel you should be praying for over the women in your life?

Men:

It would seem wise that a man might pray that he would humble himself to his wife, to ensure that she is able to meet her every reasonable goal, wish, and dream.

? why this roundabout prayer.

When I have a prayer request it doesnt really matter if a man or woman prays it. Though the fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. It could be anything. Health is important to a woman because womens bodies can be weak, or more vulnerable.

Proverbs 31 mentions she girds her loins with strength. Housework can really take it out of you. Sure some people have robot vaccums but not everyone. A lot of women in places like africa basically are fetching water everyday as there is no such thing as plumbing.

I just heard some schools have closed down cos of asbestos in them. Imagine, everyday you just breathed in asbestos because men built a house containing a toxic substance in it. And they didnt know and then wondered why everyone was getting sick. Cos they had nowhere else to go.

Some years back, I read and prayed through Stormie O’Martian’s The Power of a Praying Husband. It does a great job of addressing the relevant issues.

When my husband and I had rough times, I prayed for God to change him in how he saw me, so we could get closer again. It wasn't until i started praying that God make me the woman he needs me to be, that things started changing in our relationship. I think if I marry again, that is what i would want a man to pray for me....that he be the man I need him to be. God knows what that is even better than I do.

A godly person praying for me sounds great 😊 I don’t know exactly about specific prayers ( example help with such and such or overcoming )that would help but I think if the person is sincere and godly that is good. 😌
