Jesus warns that those who refuse to enter the kingdom of God by repentance and faith "will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth" (Matt 8:12).
** Why would anyone want to refuse God or entering into his kingdom and not repent. I know someone who has done some pretty bad things and feels like they don't need to repent, they justify their actions by thinking what they did was right, for God Loves them anyway and would never throw his children into darkness- This same person is close to now 75yrs old and never been baptized. But , who am I to judge.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Whoever this person is.... we all together lift them up to You in prayer and ask that You take away the blindness of pride so they can see their need for The Blood and The Body of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin and the gift of Your Righteousness, in the Most Powerful Name in Heaven and Earth - Jesus Christ, we ask and believe, amen. :love:(y)

I think this is a question we all need to ask ourselves. The question is whether we are forgiven of sins we have approved of our having, saying we had good reason for the sin, or do we need to want to be rid of the sin? Do we need to tell the Lord we are sorry, we do not want to commit the sin again, for that is repentance.

I know of people who have had a bad childhood, for example, or who blame parents for what they see as wrongs done them so they do not honor parents but hold a grudge. Could it be this grudge keeps them from the forgiveness Christ offers them?
