States all over the country including Georgia are calling for a convention of States. With HR1 (threatening the fabric of our Republic) the (in)equility act (threatens the woman and religious rights) and protections like the Hyde Amendment on tax-funded abortions will probably be cut out. We are seeing a power grab like nothing we have seen before. Go to the website to learn more, sign the petition, and learn about why this is desperately needed.

George Washington quote:
“The basis of our political systems is the right of the people to make and to alter their constitutions of government. But the Constitution, which at any time exists, ‘till changed by an explicit and authentic act of the whole people, is sacredly obligatory upon all. … If in the opinion of the people the distribution or modification of the constitutional powers be in any particular wrong, let it be corrected by an amendment in the way which the Constitution designates. But let there be no change by usurpation; for though this in one instance may be the instrument of good, it is the customary weapon by which free governments are destroyed.”
"Article V of the U.S. Constitution gives states the power to call a Convention of States to propose amendments. It takes 34 states to call the convention and 38 to ratify any amendments that are proposed. Our convention would only allow the states to discuss amendments that, “limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, impose fiscal restraints, and place term limits on federal officials.”
