Jesus cast out many demons from people but can a demon itself ever be healed? Is there any instance where a demon turned back to God and reformed?

To the second question, there is no such case recorded in the Bible. To the first, the scant evidence that the Bible does provide would suggest that the answer is No.

In Matthew 23, "When he [Jesus] arrived at the other side in the region of the Gadarenes, two demon-possessed men coming from the tombs met him. They were so violent that no one could pass that way. “What do you want with us, Son of God?” they shouted. “Have you come here to torture us before the appointed time?” "

After that, Jesus sends the demons into a herd of pigs. Note that the demons knew exactly who Jesus was, and expected nothing but torture from Him.

Also, in James 2, it is stated, "You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder."

Whatever demons anticipate in their future causes them to shudder; there is no redemption available to them. If there were, they would repent, for they know better than humans do that there is one God Who will judge the living and the dead.

One clue is given in Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

So if the anti Christ or the false prophet wants to deceive people, I am pretty sure they can also heal anyone during those Tribulation years, including demons if they want to. That does not have anything to do with salvation for demons though.

unbiblical the devil can not do what God can do by nature. Healing is of God not of the devil. The devil is a killer, murderer, and lying, the devil. The demon can deceive one into thinking they did something but it is God who heals.

You mean when Jesus stated "great signs and wonders", you would exclude healing from that list?

Great signs and wonders in context to the man who will be overtaken by the Anti-christ. Demons in the Bible do you see any of them healing people? NO. Why? because it is not in the nature of a devil to do so.

Jesus cast out demons of death, mute, blind, and tormenting spirits. Not one of them ever did any good to the person they possessed.

Demons always caused one to lose self-control, throw themselves in the fire, run around naked in tombs.

Demons today did not rehabilitate and sit-downs with dr. Phil. They are evil spirits which is the core of their nature.

I thought the English construction in the KJV is clear enough, those great signs and wonders are shown by false Christs, and false prophets.

What exactly do you mean by "Great signs and wonders in context to the man who will be overtaken by the Anti-christ."?

Is it the same as what I have just stated, or are you making a different point?

Hi SoulSearcher, Satan and the angels that fell with him were created with the knowledge of God to the fullness of their individual capacities. Their rejection of God is the unforgivable sin. If God has revealed Himself to them in the fullness they can receive and they reject Him nevertheless, there is nothing more God can do to convince them to accept Him.

Hi Soulsearcher,

Its a good question. What the bible says is that they are condemned. a couple of scriptures helps us see that there is no redemption for them.

Revelation 12:7-9

Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down-that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Matthew 25:41

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

The Sacred Scriptures teach that the angels were created in heaven. God is in heaven present to the angels. By this we know they rejected God in full knowledge of Him and freedom.

false prophets and false christ great signs and wonders in context are not fooling God but following man.

the counterfeit, the optical elusion, and many more ways man does "false" signs and wonders. Jesus here in The word is overemphasizing

" False" and Do not be deceived. Demons do not heal. what they do is appear to be good, to only deceive. Those who talk to the dead known as Mediums as they really think they are, it is not the dead speaking to them but a lying demon. Many people are deceived by this false Wonder. Millions are deceived by this type of signs.

The signs of God produce repentance, faith in him. Lying signs and wonders produce faith in self and man.

very great contrast.

A Demon, Fallen Angel from the Kingdom of God, [made a decision] to choose "the morning star" over God. The Demon made this choice in perfect [FREE WILL]. Now, if a Demon/Fallen Angel can [choose] who to serve, theoretically they can repent. But the question is would they? Since they know they're headed for the Lake of Fire and continue as Demons being this close to the [End]. They [are never going to repent]. So no, they can never be healed how you're thinking in terms of what healing means.

So you are basically excluding healing from those “great signs and wonders” in that verse, in order to create a doctrine that demons do not heal?

that is not correct. Because it makes Gods eternal outome of fallen angels a lie. When human reasoning enters the word of God without Bibcial support error will happen.

If what you say is true Then God prepared a place for the devil and HIS angels and they do not have to go, they can repent?

This is unbiblical why? Because Judement has already been carried out on the devil and his angels . They have been given a short time to do what God allows the to do. Can Adam return to the Garden of Eden? Can Luifer return to heaven? No. The wage of sin is death eternal separation from God. It is the Love of God that HE sent Himself to redeem man and save him from his fallen state.

This was not provided for the devil. Theoretically, with human reasoning anything can happen even the idea of no God.

Yet God has spoken. His word He has placed above His name. Jersus said in the Book of Revelation the final destination of the devil and his angels. Repenting will not change that. This is even more the reason why we are to be so thankful for the Lord Jesus Christ

Alright then.
You are basically innerjecting demons heal and created a doctrine that they do heal. Right back at you.

No, I am just understanding Matthew 24:24 literally. I don’t make it say anything else.

Amen!

I started thinking about what I posted and realized once they chose Satan, that was their final judgement.
