In our office 8/15 was tested positive for C-19 so far.
In December we lost 3 clients due to the virus but they were all diagnosed with other underlying health issues.
The virus is a reality and it is contagious (like any other flu) but I am still not convinced that we are receiving the correct information from WHO...

How could there be a second wave after herd immunity was obtained? Obviously herd immunity is a scientific myth.

I dont know about herd immunity what that really means...if people work together to stop the virus, and be obedient they will be immune?
In any case, things like plague and stuff, God can gives us wisdom and it will passover.
Every virus and disease is kind of different in its MO. If one had underlying conditions it probably means their immune system is weak, so when they do catch it its more likely to be fatal.
The other is that people are more likely to die without adequate healthcare. In many countries decent hospitals and healthcare only happens for the wealthy.

Take precautions just like you would to stop your computer from getting virus by not clicking on links from people you dont know or trust. Or advertising.
Its like facebook has become a marketing tool, and people instead of connecting with each other kind of use it to spread viruses by pushing product. I wouldnt click on anything thats labelled 'sponsored content' for example. Or those chain links people send that keep saying send it to ten people and back to me to show how much you love me kind of thing.

A semi isolated village in the Brazilian Amazon had supposedly achieved herd immunity by ¾ of the village getting sick from coronavirus.
Their hospitals and medical system (very very similar to America) got overwhelmed but hung in there.
The whole city relaxed because they were told they had achieved herd immunity...but then a "second wave" hit with their hospitals and medical system overwhelmed again...but this time they ran out of oxygen and a lot more people died and are in the process of dying.
And of course nobody likes what has happened... especially those politicizing the situation. It's literal proof that the virus needs to be taken seriously and that natural immunity is not sufficient to keep this virus from wreaking havoc and chaos.
People need the vaccines for immunity.

But I'm hearing some people saying two contradicting things....
1.) The WHO and China downplayed to the world how contagious and deadly covid-19 is/was. (I happen to believe this.)
2.) Covid-19 isn't that contagious and/or deadly. It's not much worse than the flu.
If #2 is true, then you can't say the WHO and China downplayed the severity of covid-19 because you ALSO don't think it's as big of a deal. Make sense?

Trump wanted to be re-elected and did things thinking that would help...and I would also say he did things to try to get democrats to like him too. I think of a rally he had in which he talked about working on a vaccine or maybe it was about masks...anyway he got booed by everyone in the crowd and he looked confused and shocked that people booed that. So..he didn’t really know what his own base thought about the covid.
Cancer is deadly and many more people than I thought get it. My husband had it 4 years ago..and when we went to the cancer hospital it was sad to see so many people there. He is cancer free right now. And cancer is as bad as we hear it is..my husband barely survived the treatment and the surgery to remove has left its mark too. The cure is nearly as deadly as the cancer itself.
I heard a pastor say that we were born with every disease...but what keeps it at bay is our immune system. When we are healthy everything is ok..but when we aren’t so healthy disease can get us. I think that makes sense really.
