On the 11th of September 2001, two planes flew into the twin towers in New York. They both collapsed along with a smaller building...
There was also another plane that crashed into the pentagon.

Its over 21 years later and alternate theories have circulated... So im wondering... What do people think now...

I will give my opinion later in the thread. I don't want it to influence anyone and i don't want my opinion to be the topic either...

What caused the buildings on 9/11 to collapse and why?

Something very wrong when no one has explained how tower 7 was "pulled" making it come crashing down on it's self on the same day.
Tower 7 caught alight yet self extinguished, media reported that the fire damaged tower 7 therefore they needed to "pull it".
Take a look at the footage, the damage was minor in my opinion.
Weeks of work would be needed to arrange all the explosives in that building in order to "pull it" and yet they (who is they?) managed to have the building demolished in hours during all the calamity of towers 1 and 2 demolished in the morning of that very same day.
There was reports from firemen that they heard explosions happening in the lower floors of the twin towers.
And in the aftermath we saw images of great big steel girders that looked as though they were cut with an oversized oxy-accetalene cutting torch not to mention all the other oddities.
I have big doubts that the plains caused the twin towers to come crashing down at free fall speed, I think there is much more to it

Two fully fueled planes and a high energy impact.

They said that... Geeez... Its not a job u could do in a day.
The main piece of evidence is in the physics. It came down much to quickly, almost accelerating with gravity

I wasnt there, though didnt two planes crash into it? what happened to the pentagon, a plane crashed there too but it wasnt totally destroyed. As far as I know.

Havent they built an even bigger, taller tower in the twins towers place and theres a huge pit as a memorial they call it ground zero?

Theres also a conspiracy theory about mt erebus air crash, that air nz was responsible, the gps got coordinates. wrong or someone accidentaly (or deliberately?) altered the flight plan. although they try to say it was just pilot error. The pilots themselves are dead so cant tell us what they were thinking at the time. But I dont think we'll ever know the full story.

In any case a huge tragedy.

Not to mention that all three buildings came down perfectly in their own footprint, just like a planned demolition. There was no reason for building 7 to collapse and that perfectly, just like with a demolition. They had one man with a hardhat that came out of building 7 saying "keep your eye on this building, because it's coming down." How would he know that? It would take a metallurgical test to determine the structural integrity of the building. It is also of interest that the buildings surrounding towers 1 & 2 that were completely burned out did not collapse.

6. 6 seconds they say for building 7... Ok..
I crunched the numbers and figured out that it would take 6.8 seconds for an object to reach the ground from the same height. Looking again it looks like its closer to 7 seconds to me anyway. For the few people that know physics this building also fell at the same rate as gravity, its floor literally taken from beneath it and u can see it too

Im not sure how many people would have done physics. Those of us that have can see there s something wrong immediately. Newtons 3rd law is violated and nothing should of proceeded b4 this error was accounted for. In fact this error would only serve to drive the investigation to find out why it fell so quick

I never really investigated it, Im supposing a skyscraper like the twin towers would have burned out first and not collapsed so suddenly and neatly, though nobody ever questions what, if anything, was hidden inside the twin towers that they were trying to destroy.
aside from. people which it seemed was collataral damage. Nobody seems to talk about it. It was no accident. If it was just people and trying to attack americans, and make a war, they would have done it far more randomly and generally with bombs.

were the towers structurally sound ?

Yep, 100% correct.

[QUOTE="PC123, this building also fell at the same rate as gravity[/QUOTE]

That's right, "free-fall speed" was the buzz word at the time.

After noticing that something was just not right, I started to follow all the chatter online. I don't recall anyone mentioning problems with the structural integrity of the towers.
