Well, I think this needs a separate place. I hesitate to post this at all because I am most likely an independent and don't want to take sides and would rather see agreement between opposing factions than unproductive stonewalling/discord. In order to not have the OP be a tl;dr, I feel strongly that my views are not fully developed and it would be wisest to refrain for now on the topic of peacemaking/mediation.

Please keep this civil. If you want to vent/rant or react in the flesh because you are heated...there are other threads you can use where that is already happening.

I understand that might offend some of you...but the political process working correctly is agreeing to disagree and meeting each other halfway. It has become a "no quarter given" situation. This is NOT what I understand unity in the body of Christ to be, so please consider that before posting.

What I have no interest in, by political force, is unilateral gridlock in the political process OR a one party system without agreement from the opposing party silencing and sidelining a sizable portion of this country. There may be war in politics at present but I have ZERO interest in that war spilling over into the physical where blood is shed. Though some might say this already happens...a full scale conflict is entirely undesirable. This is a simple statement of the option of an armistice not peace as I don't believe peace can exist the way most hold it in our minds at this time.

So if we can have a civil discussion about this...excellent. I've not seen such a thing before and hopefully I can independently start this thread without being either nay or yea publicly. Some may see that as cowardice and that "may" have merit...but I think there is a strong need for middle people that are "legitimately" bipartisan and declaring one thing or the other alienates someone and precludes productive agreement "if" possible.

It could be that none of this is a likelihood despite how it may appear, but I can't deny that the possibilities are difficult not to consider on some level.

The Ga Runoff election is probably the most important election ever. It's outcome will set the direction of our nation for decades in the future.

I am not a resident of Georgia, so I can not vote there, but I pray that every single republican in the state turn out to vote, and every democrat in the state turn out and vote for the republican candidates.

I believe the GA elections will be more closely watched this time, and there is probably less room for fraud/error. I also believe if the Democrat candidates win GA races this time (assuming no/less fraud allegations), it is very probable that Biden legitimately won GA.

Interesting perspective. Though it could be that people are legitimately pro-republican but anti-Trump and figured he would win regardless and as a matter of course simply didn't vote or voted 3rd party? I considered this angle at one point but that wrench was thrown in my conclusions. Thoughts?

Yes, I believe this is a possibility, especially with RINO-type Republicans who live in urban/dense areas who were more affected by COVID and believe masks were necessary, etc. But, I don't believe the numbers are large enough. At the moment Trump lost by 12K votes. If the Democrats win by 50K votes in the Senate for example, very probably that Biden win in GA is legitimate.

The days of "bipartisan" anything are long gone. The Left has declared TOTAL WAR on America, its Constitutions, its laws, its rule of law, its policing of criminals, and justice in the courts.

So the GA runoffs are simply another attempt to destroy America by putting two very evil men into the Senate, and thereby subverting the government. This is insurrection, anarchy, chaos, and destruction of America.

SECRETARY RAFFENSPERGER LAUNCHES COBB COUNTY AND STATEWIDE SIGNATURE MATCH AUDITS

https://sos.ga.gov/index.php/electi...b_county_and_statewide_signature_match_audits

Anyone think this will flip the state?

The notice says:
The audit of Cobb County’s signature match system is expected to take two weeks. However, it will not change the outcome of the November election.

Does it sound fixed?
Lol, I actually grew up in Cobb and don't live too far from there. It's always Atlanta this, Fulton that...Kind of cool.

I'd be curious how signature auditing works...I know that my signature varies wildly since I use it so infrequently. I wonder if they still employ people who are forgery experts for this kind of thing or just use computers. Pretty interesting trade.

I think a person's signature can vary but if it's someone else 'signing' your name i think it jumps out at you at how false it is. At this scale most fraudsters i doubt will even have a sample signature for attempting the fraud. It will be clear as day.

I remember someone forging my signature for a VISA fraud years ago. Luckily i caught it. Aside from misspelling my name i remember rolling my eyes at how utterly transparent the fraud was - signature was even close.

wasn't? Some signatures look incredibly complicated but you can't underestimate that some people are gifted at it. There is at least one place where part of the job description is being able to sign "autographs" for the character you are representing.

Some are incredibly simple. Particularly when digitizing signatures. My digital signature looks quite different than with a pen and probably made my pen version terrible because I don't ever do it anymore.

I spent a decent block of time pondering "signatory" authority in a binding document a few months ago and I have a good bit of thoughts on this issue but it's late and there are usually valid reasons to withhold information and it isn't all "conspiracy" or at least it isn't all nefarious. Or rather, I cannot conclude that it is due to outlying arguments that (knowing how the Lord works) can be the most critical.

Like people using a hermaphrodite as an argument for transgenderism. That is an example of an outlier that does bring up a point except I don't think it is used righteously.

So I guess I'm waiting on those to make more sense to me or at least for a bit more integration before discussing.

A fair assessment all things being equal, but I don't think they will be when weighed in the balance.

The resources- money, manpower, etc that are being tossed into Georgia is mind-boggling. This is not an insignificant factor. Some of this cannot even be tracked with FEC reports- I know a few older, richer folks who are doing a sort of political tourism, driving and sometimes flying across the country to Georgia in order to knock doors and the like.

Without being on the ground, it's difficult to say which side has the advantage here. Media reports are usually useless.

If the Democrats win by 50K votes in the Senate for example, very probably that Biden win in GA is legitimate.

The amount of mail that has been received here is crazy. Well over a dollar/voter with at least 2 and maybe 3 house visits.

So that's close to 8 attempts to solicit voting (all republican efforts to the front door/mail). Just unprecedented in my lifetime. I am only 29 though.

I can't help but think my voting history isn't private. It depends on what happens in the next 2 weeks I suppose.

I guarantee it's unprecedented. It'll ramp up even more after Christmas.

As for the price of the mailer, depends on the size and quality of the piece. Some of those pieces may be as much as $2+ plus postage. I could tell you if you took a screenshot, actually.

It's pretty easy to tell how somebody votes/voted these days because so much is available online. Especially if you have a database that can accurately match the voter file with ip addresses and social media accounts.
