Better question. How long do the end times last? Arguably if the first christians were in the last days or end times then we still are and more so but they could last another millenia or so. Another better question: what difference does it make if we are or not?

Great questions. I think the world has gone crazy, just trying to gauge what people think.

I'm increasingly inclined to think that "the last days" spoken of in the Bible were the last days of the Levitical age, and do not refer to anything past the first century.

War, famine, and earthquakes as signs?- seems like those things have happened my whole life. But let's throw in "terrible illnesses" and pestilence promised in Luke and increases in crime in Matthew and the ruining of the earth by man in Revelations - those all make it all a little more concerning. Then on things you notice almost daily like unthankful people, disloyal and people not open to any kind of agreement (politicians?) 2Timothy. and breakdowns of the family with people who have no "natural affection" or children disobedient to parents - all in 2nd Timothy along with religious hypocrisies (my own church UMC decided to embrace homosexual marriage.) There will be global teaching of the Good News and more and more people will understand the prophecies (do you? do I?) - Daniel 12:4- and more and more apathy and ridicule of news of the approaching end in Matthew 24 and Peter 3.

But then there's the mortar that binds these blocks in Matthew 24:33....

I believe this questions boils down to human vs divine perception of time itself and that our scope is limited.

Didnt the end times start about 2000 years ago?
Since Jesus was warning about them even back then.

apparently it will be like Noahs day when people are eating and drinking and marrying. and giving in marriage right up to the day Noah entered the ark.

Makes you wonder why Jesus said that about the marrying part, as little did people know there wouldnt be much homes to come back to, everything being flooded and all.

Was God kind of like ok my son was born that means everyone else can stop reproducing now. EArth's getting full. Isnt it ironic thats as more species of animals become endangered and extinct, the human population just keeps on exploding.

I remember this guy at w*rk who asked "How about all these hurricanes lately, huh? Do you think this is a sign of the end-time?"

A friend of mine said, "Well, it could be... or it could just be that it's hurricane season. It happens every year you know."

I heard somewhere that the world is supposed to have troubles like we've never seen before. I don't think we're quite there yet.

On the other hand, it shouldn't be something to worry about. We're only not ready if we are doing what we should not be doing, and we're only doing what we should not if we have the wrong priorities... and if we have the wrong priorities we shouldn't be going to heaven anyway, because we would mess it up just like Adam and Eve messed up here.

We don't have to worry unless we're not ready to go.

When i found out what abortion was i realized god is only going to allow this go on so long. And hes allowing it. The corona virus vaccine has cloned aborted children in it. Not a complicated moral decision. 100 years ago people would have seen right through this stuff. Were definitely somewhere on the downward spiral.

I'm not taking the vaccine and will live with the consequences. The world is completely broken now and fear what society will look like when it mends. It's a good time to start praying!

I believe cbn did a story on that. Those aborted cells are like 50 years old. You should look it up and read it. Its interesting.

Must we feel morally responsible for a aborted 50 year old fetus? Abortion of course is horrible and act should not be pushed onto a pregnant woman. But this life should have ended 50 years ago and is now used for saving millions? One for many. Much like Jesus. That of course is if the aborted fetus is IN FACT over 50 years old and new ones aren't being used. That would indeed be awful and unacceptable. I'm not saying it's right, just thinking out loud 🤔🤷‍♂️ I think we need to stop jumping on every conspiracy theory and taking it at face value. If mainstream media is untrustworthy I dont think that means all other sources are. I suppose it's up to the individual regardless.

There about 50,000 doctors that say, it's safe to go back to work, if your not old, or have a serious medical condition. If it's safe to back to work, why would be need a vaccine?

https://gbdeclaration.org/

It's everyone's choice, well, at least I hope so. I think there is gonna be severe persecution for people who don't take the vaccine, but I think we are living in the end times. Just to many things going on.

World leaders want to decrease the population by 95% and I think the vaccine will sterilize woman and cause serious unwanted health conditions on those who take it. It's what my gut tells me (yes, the information maybe outside the mainstream media, maybe within the conspiracy, and Christian circles). Whether or not, I'm right, or wrong I hope I'm allowed to have a choice in refusing a vaccine.

Yes I understand that. Unfortunately both my parents are elder and non Christian. And I'd rather not see them die from a virus that should have been dealt with awhile ago. I could care less if I die from it.

Are you insinuating that my favorite conspiracy website, with a .net address, black background and, like, 20 fonts per page, is unreliable!?!

Never! I will never believe it is unreliable, because it says exactly what I have already decided I believe!

Hi Cinder!

Jesus identified the end-times as that generation who sees all of those signs that He described in Matthew 24, stating that said generation would see all of those events fulfilled before that generation ended. It is specifically that last seven years when all of these events will take place.

But regarding end times, we have things that are taking place right now that demonstrate that we are getting close to those times and therefore close to the Lord's appearing to gather His church. My point being that we have the mark of the beast technology that has been evolving. We already have people who have received the RFID chip under the skin of the hand and are using it for making purchases. This will continue to evolve, leading up to the time of the antichrist/beast when it will be the only way of electronic buying and selling. If we are already seeing this, then we should know that the Lord's appearing it is getting very close. No other generation is able to claim what we can regarding the mark of the beast. Combined with the evil in the world, which is getting worse and worse, we can know that we are very close.

Another better question: what difference does it make if we are or not?
The difference is that, we who are still alive will be changed immortal and glorified and caught up to Christ before the wrath of God begins via the seals, trumpets and bowl judgments. You would not want to be on the earth for that. For it will be the worst time in the history of the world from the beginning, until now and never to be equaled again. The Lord will be removing believers before He pours out His wrath upon the whole world.

And let's not forget about a fourth of the earth being killed by the opening of the fourth seal by sword, famine, and the wild beasts of the earth. And a third of the earth and trees being burned up

Demonic beings resembling locusts who are released from the Abyss with teeth like lions teeth, faces like human faces, hair like women's hair, tails and stingers like scorpions, who will be told to torment the inhabitants of the earth with those stings.

Then there's those 200 million demonic army who are given power to kill a third of mankind by fire, smoke and sulfur.

We also have the sun being given power to scorch the inhabitants of the earth with intense heat, searing them.

That's just a few of the events of God's wrath.

I'm keeping watch. Prince Charles and the pope could be Biblical in prophecy. They are testing the R.F. I.D. in Sweden as we speak. Canada has tap pay, where you just tap your debit/credit card on a scanner, and pay. The technology is being set up for implantable chips and pay system rapidly.

I meant to say, take care of your parents.

I have to say I feel a certain amount of trepidation seeing this thread in Singles. Nothing against any of y'all, but in online forums this topic always, ALWAYS turns into an argument and then a peeing contest between people who disagree.

I hate it when that happens in Singles Forum.

I sure hope it doesn't happen in this thread. But the track record for this topic doesn't give much hope...
