I don't know about you, but I do. As an adult I figured I'd outgrow a lot of things, but there's one thing I certainly haven't. Storms at night. I've tried to not be afraid of such a silly thing, but I'm still scared stiff of storms if they happen at night. Anyone else have a problem with childish fears?
I love thunderstorms with a lot of lightning day or night. It is like watching the fireworks of God in the sky.

when people are scared of little things like bugs and spiders etc I dont really get because you are bigger and can just stomp on them.
Spiders and various bugs will snack on you while you are sleeping

you wash your sheets dont you or sleep in a mosquito net.
I often wonder why some people dont bathe or shower before they go to bed but only wash in the morning AFTER they have woken up. Dont they want to be clean before they get into bed?!

I refuse to stand or walk under those 70 foot California fan palm trees. I still have PTSD from one of the branches falling
down and cracking me upside the head. It was nasty man, it had all sorts of bird crap on it, plus it had these gnarly spikes going down the side of it that cut me. I spent a good long time wondering what sorts of wonderful diseases i might have contracted from that, thankfully nothing, but still was nasty though.

I am scared of horror movies and Thriller movies 😅 A few days ago I thought I was watching a family drama and a love story series(with 16 episodes) in the middle of watching it there was a bad scene you know about a person got killed in a suspicious way... I continued anyway, though my heart was like 😮 then I fell asleep and had a nightmare 😥

I am a compulsive worrier and I get scared stiff on a daily basis. Whatever the current irrational fear that's going through my brain is, is what I'm scared of.

Interesting story. I'll confess I hadn't ever considered getting pummeled by a palm. I agree though that the branches are quite dangerous. I pick them up and use them as a sword but those serrated edges man...looks like they could draw quite a bit of blood.

Yea, after a heavy rain with wind you can sometimes hear them clap when they hit the ground from 70+ feet up.
Never thought to use them as a sword, id still be wary about touching the fan part, lots of bird crap there too lol.

Yeah they kind of hurt but it's the clap sound that I swing them for lol. Having lived in Florida for a few years I'll admit I haven't ever heard this sound...to be fair though, there was only one paved street that had them.

I think in Florida they're better about where they plant them. Where i live in Cali they just grow wherever. Some people have them by their houses and have to deal with them falling on the roof. Thankfully people have them trimmed, but its a risky job.

WOW...that was a crazy video. Experience of a lifetime lol. I thought about being a tree trimmer for a while for the experience but I don't think I would have ever considered such a "stunt".

I don't recall them being "that" skinny and tall. I do recall them getting "buzzcuts" and looking so ridiculous for a while until the fronds grew back out though. The tall ones were usually pretty wide, not as wide as pines but still...not sticks like in that vid lol.
