We are all aware of the scriptures that to believe in/on Christ leads to salvation through Gods grace, so maybe we should have some views of what faith in Christ actually means. Once we attain an understanding of what faith in Christ truly represents, we will then also be able to ascertain a more accurate understanding of what Antichrist represents.

It means to trust and only focus on Christ and His Work at Calvary.

Anything that is not a focus on Christ and His Work at Calvary is eating away the life we have been given. It is distracting and hindering where we need to be.

The Apostle Paul tells Timothy to shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness. And their word will eat as does a canker (gangrene/cancer - spiritually speaking - 2 Tim. 2:16-17). He also said in verse 14, “Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit (Gal. 5:2), but to the subverting of the hearers.” In other words, it ruins the hearer.

We were saved by grace through faith and we live by grace through faith. That faith must be in Christ and Him Crucified or it is dead faith that is eating as does gangrene and cancer! Be not deceived.

For a better example, go to the 'Christian News Forum.' The focus will be, "Trump this, and Biden that." Watch how the Devil uses a Believer to subvert the hearer with some truth and a lie. The same tactic use by Satan against Jesus in the wilderness.

Faith is Believing IN GOD'S WORD THAT IT IS THE WORD OF GOD, AND KNOWING THAT IT IS THE WORD OF GOD. We should know and realize, THAT GOD HAS THE RIGHT TO tell us how we should live, What we can do and eat and Give up our will to HIS, And THAT IS TO GIVE UP ALL SINS, THAT GOD gives ME the KNOWLEDGE OF BY HIS COMMANDMENTS AND THE WORD OF GOD.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

THERE is a faith of the mouth, people say they believe But Don't do what GOD says Nor give up their sins, NOR obey WHAT HIS WORD says, NOR EVEN WANT TO GIVE UP THEIR SINS THAT YESUAH DIED FOR, AND HATES,
2 Peter 2:12 But these, as natural brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not; and shall utterly perish in their own corruption; = {SINS}
2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, [as] they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots [they are] and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
2:15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam [the son] of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
2:16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
{SIN IS NOT DOING WHAT HIS COMMANDMENTS SAYS } and that cannot cease from sin, THIS IS JUST THE MOUTH FAITH,

BUT there is A true FAITH, THAT CHANGES PEOPLE, FROM WHAT THEY WANT TO DO TOO, WHAT GOD WANTS THEM DO, TO WORK AND STUDY ON GETTING SINS OUT OF THEIR LIFES THROUGH WHAT GOD'S WORD SAYS AND HIS COMMANDMENTS SAY, AND TO TRY TO HELP OTHERS TO SEE THAT SIN IS STILL SIN, AND SIN WILL CAUSE THEM TO BE LOST, EVEN IF THEY SAY THEY ARE SAVED 100 TIMES A DAY FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFES, THAT Satan deceives in to believing that GOD will save them, without giving UP their SINS AND REPENTING

To believe in Jesus Christ "unto salvation" (Acts 10:43; 16:31) not only means that we believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that His death, burial and resurrection "happened." We must also trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of our salvation. (Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)

Repent does not mean sinless perfection. (1 John 1:8-10)
IT means that you are to give up all that you know is SIN, IF we choose to sin, when GOD'S WORD says it SIN, WE ARE choosing to be lost, AND that is what this verse tells us,
Hebrews
10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

This is false. Repentance is not sinless perfection. See post #121 from the link below:

The Greek word for "repent" is "metanoia" (noun) and "matanoeo" (verb) you see as defined in the Strongs #3340, 3341: to think differently or afterwards, reconsider. After thought, change of mind. Repentance basically means a "change of mind" and the context must determine what is involved in this change of mind. Where salvation is in view, repentance actually precedes saving faith in Christ and is not a totally separate act from faith. It is actually the same coin with two sides. Repentance is on one side (what you change your mind about) and faith in Christ is on the positive side--the new direction of this change of mind. (Acts 20:21)

Certain people misunderstand the term "repentance" to mean "completely stop sinning." That is not the Biblical definition of repentance. In the Bible, the word "repent" means to "change your mind." The Bible also tells us that true repentance will result in a change of actions. Acts 26:20 declares, "I preached that they should repent and turn to God and prove their repentance by their deeds." This is the fruit of repentance (Matthew 3:8) and not the essence of repentance (change of mind). Certain people confuse the "fruit of repentance" with the "essence of repentance" (and also do the same thing with faith) and end up teaching salvation by works.

I have heard certain people say, "If you want to be saved, repent of your sins, turn from all sinning." If turning from your sins means to completely stop sinning 100% of the time and never stumble at all, then people can only be saved if they completely stop sinning and in that case, it is unlikely that anyone will be saved, since we don't know anyone who is sinless, without fault or defect, flawless 100% of the time. (1 John 1:8-10)

That's not faith in the Lord Jesus.

That's faith in you departing from sin.

Remember what you said about Anti-Christ taking the place of God???

It is the Lord Jesus that gives us the Spirit that causes us to depart from sin. It is not our will or strength or understanding.

Believing in Christ means we abide in Him and trust in His Workmanship receiving Rest. Faith in Christ means we no longer work towards our own Righteousness, which is in the Law. Rather, we share what we have been given in Christ.

What Christ means to me in my everyday walk is that Christ has forgiven all my sins, Christ is now a part of me. What Christ would think and do now becomes what I want to think and do.

1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
1:2 The same was in the beginning with God.
1:3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
1:4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
1:6 There was a man sent from God, whose name [was] John.
1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all [men] through him might believe.
1:8 He was not that Light, but [was sent] to bear witness of that Light.
1:9 [That] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
1:10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
1:11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:
1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

My faith in Christ does not mean I no longer work for Christ for that would mean I no longer wanted Christ to live in me.

Christ did no give me forgiveness of my sins because of my work, but Christ cannot live with sin. I need to choose to not sin so Christ will live in me. His constant forgiveness lets me have Christ in me, but the sin in me because I am human is sin I repent of, I do not desire that sin.

Not exactly. Did you learn that from the SDA church? Have you turned away from all sinning? Do you claim to be sinless, without fault or defect, flawless 100% of the time?

How could anyone twist reason enough to come to that conclusion?
You'll have to ask bud that one?

How can anyone twist Christianity enough to continue their work at the law and call themselves Christian?
