The Congress dosn't have to obey the President. That's what I was taught in 8th grade government! All is not lost. We survived the Civil war, the Spanish flu, and The Great Depression in part by the Government accepting it/s social responsibility to help it own people and restart a stalled economy. We can do it again!

It's the emotionally invested part that I wanted to clarify. It's not the candidates that I'm invested in. It's the system. It rarely fails and when it does it usually corrects itself in time.
