so you are mormon........here under false pretenses?
God's word, and God's word only, the quoted scriptures stated in my posts, projects the extents of my beliefs.
I arrived at my conclusions that God has scattered Ephraim to the ends of the earth, and will also regather Ephraim from the ends of the earth, solely from years of individual bible study, and reading God's word by opening it at random places through prayer, as led by the Spirit of God.
AFTER I came to this conclusion independently, through personal bible study, that God has scattered Israel, and will regather Israel as well, I have encountered that, several groups of other people, came to that same conclusion, as God's word is clear on this.
The closest LDS Church, from where I live and grew up, are about 200+ km, what I know of. I am completely foreign to, and not interested in the writings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, those of the book of Mormon, as translated by Joseph Smith, and have never read or heard a single word from it. I think you might know more about Mormons than I do? But then again, I am now transgressing, from the topic of this thread.
God has scattered Ephraim to the ends of the earth, and will also regather Ephraim again one day.
John 11 (ESV)
47 So the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered the council and said, "What are we to do? For this man performs many signs. 48 If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and take away both our place and our nation." 49 But one of them, Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said to them, "You know nothing at all. 50 Nor do you understand that it is better for you that one man should die for the people, not that the whole nation should perish." 51 He did not say this of his own accord, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, 52 and not for the nation only, but also to gather into one the children of God who are scattered abroad. 53 So from that day on they made plans to put him to death. 54 Jesus therefore no longer walked openly among the Jews, but went from there to the region near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim, and there he stayed with the disciples.
Ezekiel 36 (ESV)
17 "Son of man, when the house of Israel lived in their own land, they defiled it by their ways and their deeds. Their ways before me were like the uncleanness of a woman in her menstrual impurity. 18 So I poured out my wrath upon them for the blood that they had shed in the land, for the idols with which they had defiled it. 19 I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries. In accordance with their ways and their deeds I judged them. 20 But when they came to the nations, wherever they came, they profaned my holy name, in that people said of them, 'These are the people of the Lord, and yet they had to go out of his land.' 21 But I had concern for my holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the nations to which they came. 22 "Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: It is not for your sake, O house of Israel, that I am about to act, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations to which you came. 23 And I will vindicate the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, and which you have profaned among them. And the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Lord God, when through you I vindicate my holiness before their eyes. 24 I will take you from the nations and gather you from all the countries and bring you into your own land. 25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean from all your uncleannesses, and from all your idols I will cleanse you. 26 And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules. 28 You shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers, and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
