Sometimes I feel guilty that Sundays are so hard for me. But as someone with bad anxiety (and depression) getting ready to start another long week of work makes me struggle a lot mentally. Anyone else out there get the Sunday blues?

“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble" (Matthew 6:31-34).

That's so sad since you spend 8 hrs? a day there? Joyce Meyer has a good msg on that about 'doing everything as unto the Lord'. While you're at work, just try and be that bright light in the workplace. If you're that unhappy, I'd be praying for God to bless you with another job, if it's feasible. That must be hard being at a job you don't like then going home to your children, you need to find joy in the midst of it for everyone's benefit. May God bless you in this!

I will pray for you guys who feel so sad on Sundays. For me, Sunday is the day I long for because it is the day I can really recharge my batteries with praise and worship of God, and make ready for what the world has in store for me come Monday.

Without Sunday, I am not sure I could survive Monday through Friday.

Praise God for a day set aside to worship Him and fellowship with other believers.

Trust me I’ve been putting in applications like crazy... but no response yet, just waiting on the lords timing in everything. he is always so good and will pull me out of this toxic work place.

I work a Wed - Sun schedule, so I get Tuesday night blues. Yeah, the struggle is real.

Sometimes it isn't even Sunday when I feel that way. Now that the churches are closed our faith and solace is our only recourse and comfort. The Lord is my Shepard.., Psalm 23.
