Is it the same Jesus? The Bible says that many false will rise up. If people say they believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for their salvation and then do a whole load of other things which they trust in for salvation then they only SAY they believe on Him, but their actions show different and they are living a lie. We must be truthful about this because God said He desires truth in the inward parts and the salvation of souls is the most important thing there is, that is why a sinless, precious Christ the very Son of God/God in the flesh sufferedand died. It doesn't get any more important or serious. This is about eternity. We must be honest about all this from scripture.

Matthew 16:13 King James Version (KJV)

13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

WHO IS JESUS? WHOM DO MEN SAY THAT I THE SON OF MAN AM?

And Satan is worshipped by men under the name of Jesus; and Lucifer is worshipped by men under the name of Brahma; and Leviathan is worshipped by men under the name of Allah; and Belial is worshipped by men under the name of Buddha.

Me? no. To talk about "saved".. you didn't ask. Yet I would have to say depends. I am sure many of us have heard "I am Catholic" but they don't go to Church/practice it so. Same with any group mentioned here. Do you go to Church read the bible pray all the time.. depends.

It does matter to some. Know a young woman that was Catholic yet didn't always practice it yet.. for her to get married the person had to be Catholic. Not sure our LOVE is greater then our faith. For one to pray to Mary is holy. To the other Mary is no one, shes just like everyone else. To be true to what you really say you believe. Salvation, everlasting life is not mine to give away. He pulls the heart.. He does the changing. I personally believe that millions of millions are blind. "if you were blind you would have no sin. You say you see your sin remains".

Catholics got the wrong Mary. She is not the Mary of the Bible. They call Mary "The queen of heaven" & "The lady of the kingdoms. " But the Bible condemns the queen of heaven and lady of the kingdoms. So who is this Mary that the Catholics worship? She is a satanic Mary according to the Bible.

Jeremiah 7:18 KJV

The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

Isaiah 47:5‭-‬9 KJV

Sit thou silent, and get thee into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for thou shalt no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.

I was wroth with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into thine hand: thou didst shew them no mercy; upon the ancient hast thou very heavily laid thy yoke.

And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.

Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:

But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.

Would you marry a Catholic if the practiced necromancy the foundation for believing a queen in heaven that they have named Mary ? It would seem to do despite to the grace of God.

Catholics are Christian because they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and that Christ died for their sins. Plain and simple.
If they truly believe Jesus is Lord they will come out of a church whose doctrine is sending people unwittingly to Hell.

The irony is that I dated a Catholic for 4 years and that relationship helped with my conversion. I joined a non-denominational church.

My husband was catholic. He was rather ambivalent about that faith, so it was of no concern to me.
He had nuns and priests falling out of his family tree (aunts and uncles)
Later he was baptized in a Baptist congregation, but that didn't get his attention either.

So, having to do it over, I'd say that being unevenly yoked is not the best to build a family on, but when lust reigns, good sense goes out the window.

Interesting that this post had been dormant for almost a year...
But since the topic is on Catholics...
How can anyone NOT admire this amazingly intelligent, catholic woman's loving and empathetic soul as a genuine class act.

I would definitely never marry a 'catholic', etc. but,
I can for sure admire/respect those whom God has
called out of that cult...
