Finding God in Nature

Im thinking nits must really enjoy humans hair and think its paradise just made for them. So they must really thank God who made humans.

Mosquitos must also worship God who made so many warm blooded creatures for them to dine on. Just trying to see it from their point of view. Who says animals dont know God?

I just saw this video and it made me think how God is everywhere and in control even if you don't see it.

Years ago, i got the children a Bug Dictionary, so they can get to know abt other creation of God. While we generally did not have pets at home, I still wanted them to be familiar with other creatures, whether pets or pests. Theres so much to learn abt these creepy crawlies which crawl, fly, jump, as well as swim.

While i seldom see them these days, the roach is one i really dislike, and have learned as a young person to swat them once, usually w/ a slipper-- so i never see it again.

Plants i love to learn abt, and would gladly go hiking in nearby forests if my family was more outdoorsy. My mother used to collect ferns and other plants in a zigzag we used to travel in. Ive come to the point where i pick a leaf or cutting, or collect seeds of interesting things i want to see grow.. but sometimes forget all abt them until i see shoots of stuff i would only later identify as a date, Premna odorata (called alagao here), etc.. many others i still havent identified.

I do so love being and working in my garden, often dragonflies, butterlies, or ladybugs, will land on my shoulder and keep me company while I work.
I have even had birds land next to me and keep me company.
I guess they are just used to me being there.
I always feel so close to God when I am in my garden, today, a gentle wind surrounded me and I thought..maby? God Our Father was simply calming my soul during all this craziness the world is having.
It did calm me, and I felt very much at peace.
I have always loved that one of the first places God was with us, was in the garden of Eden.

...yeah it is, lol. I like living in my state, despite the heat, lol. Plus what’s cool is that my state actually has a huge amount ecosystems because it is a big state, it’s more costal like ecosystems near the coast, and heading more west, it turns into desert/mountain ecosystems. I’m just in the hills ecosystem, and out in the middle of nowhere.

I went to america once, i was amazed with everything, everything being so different. Never seen something similar. Would love to go back someday, maybe even get some firearms LOL

Yeah America is pretty cool, the amount of history and the variety in with our nature, it’s really cool. I’ve been lucky enough to go on family vacations to other states. Went to Grand Canyon, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, and Arches/Moab. We did mini-stops at other parks along the way, such as the Grand Teton Park cause it’s right near Yellowstone, but the parks I listed we spent the most time at.

Awsome, I've heard so many times of that places and seen so many pictures and they look so nice, everything is so beautiful, would love to visit them all some day. I've been in national parks here in Argie soil but we've got nothing like Yellowstone, we have some natural constructions like in Iguazu and the Perito moreno but we have no national park like that, so big and so famous.

I spent about 10 minutes trying to explain that to someone and then later on I was reading the word and in Romans 1 and it says it pretty succinctly there what took me so long to say lol. It was so profound at the time.

but yeah I feel you. I just pointed that out because there's a whole new agey "find God in nature man" and that's more of an echo than himself.


Regarding insects though, it is interesting. Even people that say they aren't afraid of insects, I would poke at those people a little bit and ask them if their body is.

I've been in caves full of mole crickets...if I saw one land I might not react and brush it off me (I have many times stifled the initial jerk when I can see it) but when something crawls across your arm unexpectedly you jerk.

Perhaps not for everyone, but the way that certain insects interact with the hairs on your body produces this reaction. If you focus on it, you can sometimes tell what insect it is.


A roach scuttling across one's arm in the middle of the night unexpectedly? I would be amazed if you didn't jerk or get chills of any sort.


Oh and yes, I would like the mystery of the skeeter explained. Legitimately there is no other substitute for what they do?!? Why couldn't they be like sharks which aren't very attracted to human blood (if at all)? I get it when mosquitos are desperate but it seems otherwise.

Sand fleas aren't that great either though.


House centipedes used to legit give me the creeps when I first saw them, they are SO fast. Not sure if my calculation is correct but 1.3ft/second is their top speed (supposedly) which would put it at 78 feet/minute and almost 1MPH. A mile/hr seems slow but for something that looks like that?

I think you're taking the title too literally. It's an expression such as "finding Handel in Water Music" or "finding Beethoven in Fur Elise". They're not literally in them, but they can be found in them. God can be found in nature; he's everywhere.

There would be no nature were God not within it. Once I was admiring the beautiful mountains and greenery near Roosevelt National Forest, the Rockies, and I was taking to our Father and saying how beautiful all of His creation is.

Suddenly with no warning, everything that I had been admiring seemed dead, no life at all within. Then after all came back to reality of this age I realized, all of nature, thought filled with our Maker is but props and the like kept animated and alive by out Maker.

So I do believe God is in everything, but only keeping it going until just before man is capable of destroying all. Praise our Maker, He is good all of the time, amen.

Day unto day and night unto night testifies of the handiwork of God....even the invisible testifies and there is NO LANGUAGE BARRIER concerning said testimony.....

Having said that, where can God's hand not be seen in creation? Everywhere I look, I see it.

I watched the nightly progress of two small young beavers one time....every morning I would check their progress, and I was absolutely amazed at their abilities, how they did what they did, how they chose which direction to use as a spillway for their dam etc.....They literally used the power of the stream to force their main poles into the creek bed, they used big rocks to hold poles in place until they could weave the cross branches, they ran the spill way side to the hard rock bluff to keep from undercutting a bank and I honestly believe that a man with a transit could not have made the dam more level and with about a 1 to 2 degree drop to the spillway side to direct the water....To this day it still astounds me and makes me think of the intelligence behind creation.....these were not adult beavers, they were two young beavers (based on the size of them) and how they knew what to do and their accuracy blew my mind!

I didn’t know this, but rosemary bushes bloom with flowers, look:





It was cool to see, my mom grows rosemary because she likes plants. I don’t think we actually harvest the rosemary, but it is a pretty plant. Also, it is pretty cool that God designed some plants to be eaten, or at least safe to eat, lol. Just another sign of how he provides and loves us ^_^

Rosemary in Spanish is romero. I have a few plants growing in my garden. I put a sprig of it in alcohol to give it a nice scent. Yes, it is another of theuncountable gifts from God, and now, from your Mom. God bless you.

God is nature.God is all things because all that exists is of and from God. If we love a beautiful sunset we're praising God. If we gaze in wonder at a magnificent waterfall, we're praising God. All of creation worships God.
