Hi Everyone on CC. I am rather new to the Christianity faith and yet I am not new. I mean I was raised in a church many years ago as a child but I have sort of drifted away as I am sure many of us do. I spent so many years of my life working and raising children whom I wish I had raised in the church. Busy years that I sort of forgot about being faithful to the Lord. Busy years doing the wrong things and forgetting about Christ. Now I find myself going through some difficult times and I find I am going to need my faith back in my life and other Christians to chat with. So here I am hoping to make some new online friends while boosting my faith in God.

Hi MaeLin so good for you to be here.I sense that it Is God who is leading your life and just like the prodigal son who got to a point in life where certain hardships made him have the desire to go back to his father who he had drifted away from....so I sense it is you..God has been in your life waiting for such a time as this.Sometimes our hardships can be our greatest blessing in disguise coz it an lead us to a place we would never have gotten to if certain hardships didnt take place...(just felt to tell you that)
God has got you and wants to also bless ur family bloodline.I am so happy you are here with us..May God shower you with hope,strength and encouragement here...😊😊

All the challenges God gives us are opportunities for us to be emptied of ourselves and burry our heads in the breast of Christ for comforting love and nurturing of our souls in him and his will for us, as he works both in us and through us to shine out through us to the world around us as light in the darkness

So I guess the trouble can be seen as a good thing, though it may be painful for awhile.

Psalm 119:71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted, That I may learn Your statutes.

God is merciful, He will welcome you when you seek Him out. Ask for forgiveness for the times when you had drifted from Him, and He will certainly pardon you . Praise God!
