It is very likely that Jesus was Middle Eastern looking with light skin, curly hair, dark in color, perhaps light brown.

See Solomon's description :
"My beloved [is] white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.
His head [is as] the most fine gold, his locks [are] bushy, [and] black as a raven"
Song 5:10-11 (KJV Bible)
"My beloved is white and reddish, the chief among ten thousand.
His head is the most fine gold. His locks are bushy, black as a raven."
Song 5:10-11 (MLV Bible)
"My beloved [is] white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.
His head [is as] the most fine gold, his locks [are] bushy, [and] black as a raven."
Song 5:10-11 (LSV Bible)
The Hebrews/Israelites/Jews were different from the Ethiopians/Cushites :
"Can the Ethiopian change his skin, or the leopard his spots? [then] may ye also do good, that are accustomed to do evil."
Jeremiah 13:23 (KJV Bible)
So Jesus either had a pale skin, like a Syrian, or a little less pale, like a Persian, it could also be that very white, like Solomon.
Jesus had no dark skin nor black skin.
Nor would he be very tall, and he would have short hair like a man, not this long hair of Catholicism.

Jesus most likely liked a Jew of his day, fair skin (like today's Jews), dark eyes, and dark hair.

But since there are no records of his physical attributes, it is possible that he had slightly lighter or darker features.

Most people all around the world are fine with this description except the extremists (on both ends).

Hebrew love poetry is hardly prophetic.

It's bad form to start threads and then disappear, only to start others. Either discuss what you start, or don't start at all.

Agreed, except that it can be difficult to monitor too many at once...That's why I don't start many myself ;)

and sometimes, they just don't have much momentum for whatever reason.

On the cross he was mostly just BLOOD RED. And for that reason he can identify with all humans of all skin tones. And that is what matters.

Well if I had to guess he had a very tanned skin as in the area they lived at the time they were out in the sun all the time most people worked outside whether that was fishing or even tax collecting if I had to guess he had dark brown hair at least that ora lighter shade of it black hair is less common than brown

The fact that Jesus easily blended into the crowd when He wanted to, and that Judas had to point Jesus out by a kiss, attest to that. Jesus must have looked very plain, without extraordinary characteristics like exceptional height, muscularity, etc.

P.S. This also depends on how light, or dark, were the Jews back in the day (as Jesus looked average). I am thinking about the possibility that Jews might have been a bit darker than nowadays, maybe more olive in skin color, the ethnic composition might have changed a bit overtime. Maybe someone else here knows a bit more about that...

um although song of Solomon isnt describing Jesus himself....

what did distinguish the Jews wasnt really their skin tone (usually olive complexion) or hair (usually curly) but their noses.

It is 100% guaranteed that he was a Jew, was not good looking and probably sickly and weak looking!

It would not be out of question if Jesus was handsome, since some men (and women) in the Davidic line were handsome (David, Solomon, maybe more).

the bible says that Jesus wasnt noticebly handsome if the prophecies ae taken into account.
David wasnt particularly handsome..he was chosen out of his brothers not because he was the most good looking but the smallest. Saul was described as tall and good looking.

One of Davids sons was especially vain but it wasnt Solomon. It was Absolom who had the model good looks.

1 Samuel 16:12
So Jesse sent for his youngest son and brought him in. He was ruddy, with beautiful eyes and a handsome appearance. And the LORD said, “Rise and anoint him, for he is the one.”

“10 My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand. (The Shulamite now speaks of her lowly shepherd. Strangely enough, the word “white” actually means “dark red,” and corresponds to the Vision that John saw on the Isle of Patmos.

Truly, He is the “fairest among ten thousand.”)”

ABRAHAM

The Jewish people had their beginning with Abraham. God called this man out of Ur of the Chaldees, which is modern day Iraq. It is amazing, as given to us in the Word of God, as to the number of Biblical things that have had, and do have, eternal consequences, which had their beginnings in Iraq. In the Bible, this area is referred to as Babylon, Babylonia, the Chaldees, Assyria, or Mesopotamia. Actually, the city of Babylon is mentioned more times in the Bible than any other city, with the exception of Jerusalem. The following might be of some interest:

● It is believed by some Bible scholars that the Garden of Eden was located where Babylon would later be built.

● Adam and Eve were created in Iraq.

● The first worship of the Lord took place in the Garden of Eden, which is in modern day Iraq.

● The first temptation occurred in Iraq.

● The terrible “Fall” occurred in Iraq.

● The Voice of the Lord was first heard in Iraq.

● The first sacrifices were offered in Iraq.

● The first recorded obedience of the Sacrificial Offerings, as it regarded Abel, took place in Iraq.

● The first refusal of God’s Way, which was by virtue of the slain lamb, and carried out by Cain, took place in Iraq.

● The first murder took place in Iraq, with Cain killing his brother Abel.

● It is believed that Noah’s Ark was built in Iraq.

● It was the Babylonian Empire, located in Iraq, which destroyed Judah and Jerusalem.

● The Book of Daniel in the Bible was written in Iraq.

● It is believed that the Antichrist will make his headquarters in Iraq.

● Incidentally, Iraq is the site of the first organized rebellion against God, as it regarded building the Tower of Babel.

● As well, the various languages of the world, instituted by the Lord, took place in Iraq.

● In one sense of the word, it all began in Iraq, and it all will end in Iraq.”

Nothing “physically” attractive about Him because the “flesh” would have been attracted to Him.

He only wanted to attract people by the Spirit of God - only by the Holy Spirit would anyone follow Him.

Later, His “power” to do miracles attracted the “flesh” - He had to confront those followers.

One day in the future, His Blood from the linen cloth He was buried in will be placed in a glass vial and ran through a computer software program that can produce a hologram from DNA...they will input 33 1/2 years old, 175 lbs.....

and there He is....life size right in front of you....face to face.

He’s ugly, the whole world will argue, “How can this be the Son of God? He’s so ugly?!”

He hid Himself- He is actually so beautiful....beyond knowing with natural eyes........I love Him, He is my Beloved.(y)
