Hi! I'm from Canada. I'm a cook as a profession (although these days its pretty slow lol) I am a PK! I've done a bunch of mission trips in the past. I enjoy fitness (I have my own personal trainer) sports, hiking, camping, cooking, read books, watch movies, video games/board games, travel, road trips, church ministry and family are important to me too.

Hi! I have yet to try and Jamaican or African dishes but I'm sure I'd be able to follow along a recipe. :)

I cook too. What dishes do you most enjoy making?
I like to make a lot of things... I'm a big fan of Italian cuisine so I make a really good Chicken Alfredo and Lasagna :)

-Please do not cook oysters for them!!!

A warm welcome to CC, my beloved PK friend. I like hot dogs and bologna sandwiches, but what do you suggest?

Thanks, but my wife does most of the cooking although I do cook occasionally. Back in the day I used to be a line and banquet cook. Although that was years ago I am still handy in the kitchen. You obviously have many interests in an apparent well-balanced life. Lots and lots of peeps here from Canada so you should feel right at home. Glad to have you as a member of our community. Welcome to CC.

Thanks for the warm welcome! You can always put the hot dog wieners in the bologna sandwich 🙂

Ethopian - yah.
First you need to get lost and then make a pancake out of it. (teff)

then ya make a stew out of some tripe.
serve it up in a pancake the size of a table.
Had some when I was there, taking me back.

Now I'm smelling the frankincense on the morning fires and remembering the quiet and darkness of the night breaking.
Remembering the colors and the smells of the spice market.
Great break from the smell of the dust in the heat of the day.
That part was gross but overall it had its moments.
