Hello church!

It is good to see you. It has been awhile but it is worth it. Sometimes you have to remove yourself to find yourself.
I have found some of that "self" in me. I have along way to go but it is something and I am always striving to elevate myself because life is about living to your full potential. I wanted to just type my thoughts like I usually do but this time with meaning and a message. I've learned a lot since being quarantined and just in general about the reality of this world. One thing I have learned is to not look at other people's life and think that it is perfect and compare your life to others. Some of us tend to do this so much. We truly do not know what issues someone may be going through, yet we think it's better on the other side, so human of us though right? Another thing I've realized and I have come to this beautiful perspective is that who cares what anyone thinks of me? Do you realize that living life worried about what others think of you places a hindrance on your life? It is basically blocking you from being free and being who you are (even in Christ) Why is it that we are so afraid of being judged by people who are literally no better than us? again, human thinking. I used to come on here and post and share my thoughts and opinions on the bible, even shared some lovely testimonies about Jesus- that I still do to this day because if God blesses you with something, it is not always for you to keep to yourself. Sometimes he BLESSES us so we can share the blessings with others, and that is what I did. Silly of me to allow other people's judgement to put doubt in my own experiences. When you grow you can see things clearly. That was not so clear to me before. I have learned to tell the truth, my truth even if someone does not agree! I had to tell myself that not everyone will "accept" me. YES! That is the goal. lol. Why would I want to be accepted by EVERYONE? that would not make me special or original and I have to remind myself of a perfect GOD who was not even accepted in his own hometown. This makes me BEAUTIFUL and wise and a leader. I do not wish anymore to be accepted by people who cannot see my light when there were people who refused to believe Jesus light. This is not to compare me to Jesus in anyway but to share my point of view in saying that it is okay not to be accepted or feel "alone" because in all actuality.. YOU ARE NEVER ALONE. and Jesus accepts you. I accept me. I realize that I did not accept me first and because of this I was looking acceptance in others, not anymore. I have realized that God has placed truth in my heart for A REASON. It is not for me to seek validation from everyone who hears his truth. It is to only bring glory and light to those who cannot see.

I hope you all have a great evening and thank you for those who ARE kind, loving, understanding, compassionate because YOU are representing the true character of Jesus.

& to be different in a world where everyone wants too fit in was never God's plan for me. I used to "hate" being different but now I embrace it because it has inspired me to realize that I have leadership qualities in Christ and I think openly where others are closed minded, I can share insight and make other's think of something in a new way and truthful way. - I've done it many times. Glory to God.

So embrace who you are in Christ, you are beautiful to him and he wants you to know YOU in him.

Yes, the pandemic has not effected my family and I am considered an essential worker so I'm still working, and with some overtime as well. Hope all is well with you. Glad to see you are posting again. God Bless You.

I read your posts again and agree with everything that you obviously wrote from the depths of your heart. I want you to know that I accept you for the person you are that God created. Yes, we are never alone because Jesus will neither leave us nor forsake us. God wants us to have life and to have it more abundantly and for that to happen, it is like you have said, you have to be free and stay true to yourself. May God allow you to grow and prosper as you continue your life's journey. Eventually, we will all end up at the same destination even though we may have trodden down a different path. I will see you there. Safe Passage.

Be still and know that I am your God scripture says. The Christian life is a long, long journey. We all stumble
but God catches us and if we fall He picks us up. None of us is perfect but we all should strive for perfection
even though we know we can't achieve it. In the end, there is faith hope and love and the greatest of these
is love. When you are feeling blue, ask God to come to you, smiles.

a really wonderful witness, so well expressed -
you are entering into a very special time that many will never experience -
it sounds as though you are learning to cherish yourself as Christ does -
it's such an honour when we realize and then start living the way that
is expected of us...
TY for sharing,
:):)

Amen, thank you for your fellowship! It is greatly needed and yes, we all live on this earth but each of us have a purpose from God and those who walk with God will find other's along the way with him. Since we are all going to that direction towards him. Forever.

11COR. 10:12.
For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves:
but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
13.
But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule
which God has distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.

SunLight,
it sounds as though you have learned a very great Spiritual Lesson -
the main point is, that we do not 'compare' ourselves with others,
but we compare ourselves to Who is Perfect, Jesus Christ, for this
Who is The WHO we desire to measure up to, and likewise,
we must not care what others 'think' about us, but,
we do care greatly about what our Lord thinks about us and what we do...

this concept is almost alien to the majority of people in the world,
for once one is called, elected, and chosen, this can still be a great
hurdle and can take many years of maturing in Christ to over-come...

Thanks again, for such an honest and personal witness...

Here on CC many rather have the opposite problem, they constantly look at others, thinking their own life is perfect.
But I do agree with your kind hearted post, just trying to blow off some steam.

I never worry about getting accepted because I know I am accepted by God, and as such, anyone who doesn't accept me is sinning by not following Jesus Christ's commandment to love everyone, so it's on them.

If anything, people hurt themselves by rejecting someone as they end up following Satan's path instead of the right path of Jesus Christ, landing themselves in hell, whether metaphorically in this life (someone once quit his job because he was too proud to work with me on an equal footing, and missed out on many successes my team had afterwards), or literally in the afterlife. People who love themselves completely love everyone without exception. Beware of those who don't truly love themselves. They try to dump their problems on you instead of owning up to them and loving themselves. When they reject you, they are not truly rejecting you yet part of themselves instead. As a follower of Jesus Christ who loves everyone, this does not threaten you or affect you one bit.

Godspeed.

Nobodys life is perfect, cos we arent in heaven yet. Even Job wasnt perfect, he was righteous, but he wasnt perfect.

I recall Jesus had one path for Peter, and another for John and they were different paths, but when Peter asked where was John going, Jesus said what is it to you? Follow thou me.

You see it with siblings and Ive experienced it...younger siblings want to emulate older ones, but actually we dont all end up having the same jobs and having the same friends do we. Even if we are twins there are differences. Most of us have different names to each other. Think on how confusing it would be if we all had the same names, well it would confuse me. I had two boys with the exact same name in one of my class (they were cousins) and it was rather difficult to issue books at first not knowing which was which.

God could have cloned us but He didnt. Im glad He made me different
