Yes. Received them last Monday. They were as advertised (surgical masks). I noticed that the reorder price was higher.

They are single use, but I put mine in the sunlight for an hour after I used it. I'll reuse it if I run out before my other order comes in.

I'm afraid that we will be wearing masks for the foreseeable future.

Restuarants are reopening at 25% capacity tomorrow, but patron's and staff are required to wear masks. I'm trying to figure out how I can eat with while wearing a mask.
if you run out of surgical mask,
I feel that its better to wear a washable cloth mask that has good filter, than to reuse the surgical ones.

The only solution is to eat your restaurant food at home.

It must be mighty uncomfortable for kitchen staff to wear a mask in a hot kitchen.

One of the briefings the president had the results of tests involving sunlight on non porous surfaces. The virus has a half life of less than 5 minutes.

I had some new thin baby blankets that most people use for burp rags and I used that to make my face masks. Then, for the ear piece I used some thin stretchy hair bands

Has anyone here tried their hands at making their own mask? What kind of material did you use and can I see it? Post a picture.
As long as someone has the materials they can make a mask. I was given one by my church, so i dont need to make one, i have two already. :p

My lovely daughter bought me some masks; I have a fourth one now too, which is also purple :D

I inserted
an N95 mask inside the one on the far right for extra protection :)

My DIY masks did not turn out as how they should. I overcomplicated things, and it went down hill from there. I have abandoned the project since then.

...we are told that the general public does not need to wear N95 mask.
The more accurate statement would be that the N95 mask is primarily for medical personnel, and is in short supply. Therefore the general public was discouraged from its use.

In any event the masks which are being worn generally have little or no effect on the transmission of viruses. This whole masking business is a ploy to put state control over peoples' lives. Coronavirus is a strain of flu, and flu epidemics have been around for a long time. No one demanded any special precautions all this time. But the Wuhan virus conspiracy was meant to damage the economy and restrict civil liberties, while making all kinds of demands on the lives of people. There are also billions of dollars to be garnered through Remdesivir and the upcoming *vaccine* (even though these are not very effective).

The conspiracy has been a brilliant success. All Western leaders have been conned, while the Chinese Communist bosses are simply delighted. They created an indirect bio-weapon which has crippled the West better than a military attack.

Regarding masks that would be incorrect, as well this virus does not behave like a seasonal flu virus at all.

The first cases were reported in the beginning of October 1918. Restrictions were put into place shortly after. Theaters, schools, and restaurants closed, and people were encouraged to stay home.

If I had a sewing machine and knew how to use it, 'd try. Decent looking masks are selling for between $5 - $9 a pop on street corners and parking lots around here. There are 2 vendors selling them outside of Walmart now.

Thank you!

Honestly it is like history has been wiped away and this is all new.
Masks are not new and they generally do slow down the rate of transmission depending on the virus.

This virus can incubate up to 14 days that is a huge problem.

Yes very true however many cities (like San Francisco lightened up the restrictions when they thought the flu was on the decline. The result was a disaster. They made the same mistake Here in LA and it's soaring.

I've learned long ago to study history because what's happened before is very likely to happen again.

Can we trust anything said about coronavirus any more? Even Trump decided to cut CDC out of the loop and have hospitals report directly to the White House.

White House Orders Hospitals To Bypass CDC And Send Patients' Information To HHS Directly
https://www.ibtimes.com/white-house...end-patients-information-hhs-directly-3011532

Ironically this reporter made this remark in this article: "However, this move from the Trump administration has alarmed health experts who fear that such data can be politicized or withheld from the public.."

The fact is that CDC, NIH, Redfield, Fauci, Birx etc politicized the pandemic for their own selfish reasons. There are billions of dollars to be made from Gilead's Remdesivir, and Fauci will certainly reap the benefits. And Trump has been duped from day one, yet clings to Fauci as though he is his best buddy.

Perhaps better to widen your perspective and look at other countries.

Yes the virus has been wrongly politicized, but the virus is real and not facing the truth of the virus has been the major problem, countries that were prepared and acted swiftly have fared far better.....New Zealand, South Korea and Australia and Canada.

I am sorry but the USA was not prepared and made bad choices even on the limited knowledge they had of this new "novel" virus.
