terrible scribe. These youtube mockers have no reverence for the GodHead. it is a shame those who name the name of Jesus have no respect for the Living God. And try to simplify and lower God by human reasoning.
I didn't see it like that. I understood them as making a point about the futility of all these analogies people come up with to explain the trinity and more often than not their explanation does not explain the trinity. Also, even after someone thinks they have the trinity figured out it is ironic that they live drunken sinful lives with out comprehending that explaining the trinity does not help you if you are still going to be a drunkard.

I do not know what you mean about drunken sinful lives and are you suggesting something? Because I know of no drunkard here on this thread? Because I do not drink. The issue I have is the video is condescending.

At the end of the video they make a crack about going to go get drunk, it is in reference to some old religious people who might argue for correctly defining the trinity but not living the life of one who really knows the trinity.

How can Jesus be God, the Spirit be God and the Father be God?
1. The "Lord" (the God of Israel) is one
2. The "Lord God" is three
3. "God" is seven
4. "Jesus" is the angel of the Lord

1 .Mark 12:29 - “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.

2. Rev 22:13 - I am the Alpha and the Omega (Father), the First and the Last (Son), the Beginning and the End (Holy Spirit).
Rev 1:8 - “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God...

3. Rev 4:5 - From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God.

4. Rev 22:16 - “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you all this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”

Rob Bowman has a complete set of Scriptural reasons for the subpoints of the Trinity doctrine here:

http://bib.irr.org/biblical-basis-o...2XWq1YXRAfRgBJ1F_KupvTOtzrGdC-KiOk_lXfJ3IKevI

There is one God.
This one God is the single divine being known in the OT as Jehovah or Yahweh (“the LORD”).
The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is God.
The Son, Jesus Christ, is God.
The Holy Spirit is God.
The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are each someone distinct from the other two.
Conclusion: The Bible teaches the Trinity.
What difference does the doctrine of the Trinity make?

Using his Scripture proofs, you can easily defend the Trinity against heretical views of God's nature.

For instance, Oneness people deny this point: The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are each someone distinct from the other two.

Like I have said, heretical groups also distort church history to justify their claims and to support their boogeyman narrative of Constantine or the Roman Catholic church. The RC Church has doctrinal errors but the Trinity is not one of them.

Based on your "signature" rant about race I have no interest in anything else that you have to say.

Fine with me. My signature doesn't reflect racism though. Black Lives Matter is a cultural Marxist group that supports anti-Christian values. All you have to do is look at their website to determine this.

But it might be easier to just pull the race card.

Just as we have 3 systems, body soul and spirit, God also has 3 systems. The father , the son and the holy spirit. God is absolutely powerful that he exists in 3 persons, what makes things amazing is that the 3 person's of the Godhead are independent of each other, its like our body soul and spirit, are acting independently.

Adonai echad. The one God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses and Jesus.

Adonai shalosh? At best, false teaching. At worst, blasphemy.

God is one, not three.

Jesus (not to mention the others) is a strict unitary monotheist.

The very beginning of the Bible alludes to a Trinity...ONE God in three divine Persons.. "Let US (1) make man in OUR (2) image and after OUR (3) likeness." (Gen.1:26)

How can you be a son, and a father, and a brother, and a cousin, and an uncle, and a friend, and an enemy, all at the same time?
Do you accept this as an analogy for the Trinity?

Creeds are creeds nothing more and nothing less as oral traditions of men .

That (OUR (2) likeness)would seem more to represent two. The father and the Son as one work of faith working together in perfect harmony. .The Son taking the lower position .The Father the greater with power .Not a greater person but position. Together creating the peace of God that does surpass human understanding .The understanding of God.

Some use three.

earth.
Every time you speak about the bible, you form a creed (conclusion about what it says). The Ecumenical creeds resulted from prolonged and intense debates held in the early church to define what scripture says on several topics. The unify the Church by teaching what the bible says on different topics.
...except they were wrong.

“Many Christian theologians interpret it as an early hint of plurality within the Godhead, but this view imposes later trinitarian concepts on the ancient text.”

Neither Moses nor anyone else living in biblical times would have understood the text as you’ve explained it. They weren’t trinitarians.

yes yes. as the Messiah said, I and the Father are one. He did not say Me and the Holy Spirit and the Father are one.
The Spirit of the Holy One of Israel is not referred to as a separate person with a separate identity.

i think of the experiment I did in school with a puddle of mercury. Ever watch that? Take a puddle of mercury in a dish on a table and poke it with a pencil to split it apart. There will be beads of it at a distance from the source puddle but it's all the same mercury.
Then with one quick move all satellite 'pieces' draw back into one source puddle. This is somewhat how I imagine my God functioning between realms...heavenly and earthly. He left a puddle on earth, our lifeline to the throne, the ONE throne of the ONE true God, YHWH.

You may want to highlight your own words in a different color to differentiate between that and scripture. Some people may think that the words (Father) (Son) and (Holy Ghost) actually appear in Rev 22. Because they do not.
Just for clarity.
Thanks.

I am the son of my father and the father of my children. I have a brother and a sister and a cousin. I am an uncle. I have many friends and at least one enemy (that I know of). I am just one person.

Does that answer your question?
