California is persecuting the church and the church is letting them do it.

Hello, all brothers and sisters in Christ. Today our Governor has said church services inside can no longer happen, we must stop. We're required to worship outside and we can't worship as our God-given right to do so as we see according to our own convictions. Many restrictions placed on the church just to have services inside. I do not know how you see worship to God, but the word of God says we are to worship which is an act of love towards God and we are told to Love God with ALL!!! Deuteronomy 6:5. Those in authority are telling us how to worship and express our love to God. That is not allowed Biblically nor is it allowed as an American Citizen. The COVID-19 was still an issue when those in leadership supported the protesting which they enjoyed on the back of us all who worked to Flatten the Curve of this Pandemic. Now we have uncertainty YET again. There is not a cry for spiritual health and wellness being? Suicide is up, crime is up, depression is up, child abuse it up, addiction it up, DUI's is up. Murder is up, and FEAR RULES the day! Faith is down, hope is down, courage is down. Enough is enough. I am asking each of you to seriously pray & fast. For three very specific things starting tomorrow until Sunday morning for the following: 1. Revival a mighty move of God. 2. Unity in the body of Christ 3. removal of the unjust leaders. When I say revival I mean salvation, healing, and deliverance as we First repent for our State. Stand in the Gap ask God to forgive CA, and save our state. When I say unity in the Body I mean we pray and stand with each other locally and for the word of God. when I say the removal of unjust Leaders I am asking that you Pray God to do so supernaturally, we can't wait until November 3rd. I'm asking you all to cry out to the Lord ask HIM to forgive you then the State and then ask for revival of our youth, schools, churches, town leadership, and those running the state. Everything we do is worship and praise, all are seen in the word of God. Singing is worship and praise, clapping, shouting unto the Lord playing musical instruments worship of the congregation. everything that has Breath Praise the Lord! Psalms 150:6 the very rocks will cry out! enough is enough. Remember three things and fast while praying I leave that between you and the Lord. pray for 1. repent/revival 2. unity of the body of Christ. 3. removal of unjust leadership for GOD to do so. starting tomorrow amen when you get up, hit your knees and read 2chronicle 7:14 “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. repent turn from sin back to God ask HIM to search your heart then cry out for your family and leadership that God would bring righteous leadership and remove those as HE did kings and rules who stood in the way of worship to the Living God. I am telling you God will remove them and you shall see it.

We have family and friends out there, some in Escondido, some in Oakland. Leftists are loving them some COVID because it gives them a reason to control, destroy, take over &c.

Here is what we need: We need repentance among professing believers before God.

Sad thing is we have a granddaughter out there (Escondido) who had a church elder, a married church elder, who pursued her. We found the emails of nasty things he said while they were here visiting on Thanksgiving 2019. Hangouts messages as well were found on SIL computer to her.

Once they got back and reported it the police couldn't arrest him because he went to the line but not beyond. They rebuked him and said he should be put in jail. They also felt he knew what he was doing and saw a pattern, and said he's probably done this before.

He asked my granddaughter if she would wear some pajamas so he could come over and see her, and other things that were very inappropriate. She spilled them beans after we found this stuff out. We thank God He revealed it while they were here.

What did the church do? They defended him in a meeting, believed him that he meant nothing, and SIL and granddaughters were out of a church because there was no way they could go there any longer. They were devastated to say the least.

Lo and behold they caught him in something else (just a few days ago) and he left angry, but unrepentant, said he did nothing wrong (again.)

The "pastor" defended him all along, then after he left wants our family back and said he was wimpy in handling it. Ya think?

That is negligent and incompetence. IMO he only wants them back to replace a family he lost.

Point? Do we need repentance? Um.

Is this judgment on our nation spot on? Yep.

And believers are arguing if repentance from sin is necessary or not?

Unbelievable.

We will pray brother. Thanks.

Democratic Crazyfornia! Only in Democratic states it seems is religious liberty being stripped using the excuse of this flu virus.

They really turned insane when the Dept. of Health ruled weeks ago that we aren't allowed to sing hymns from behind our masks. That's when we could gather in limited numbers.
The responsibility for this concession is on the churches. Over three hundred California churches vowed to reopen and have services on Pentecost Sunday. In that number, it didn't happen.

Render unto God that which is God's and unto Caesar, government, that which is Caesar's. The Separation clause in our Constitution is inalienable. The churches are making their face known before God when they concede to oppression of their inalienable first amendment right to religious freedom and expression. The people who perished in order to insure those rights were made inalienable are cast aside even in memory when any one of us submits to having them removed from us.

California churches are a shame if they continue to obey Caesar. And God is watching.
Pick a side. Choose righteousness.

I'm in Canada....my small town (pop ~12,000) has an Anglican Church (like Episcopalian sp?), Roman Catholic, United Church of Canada, Christian Reformed (my home church), Pentecostal and JW......I don't know what the JW's are doing, but all the rest are worshipping on-line, although the Pentescostal church recently started drive in services.

My church (CRC) has stipulated 5 conditions for worshiping in person inside again: 1) RSVP so as to maintain no more than 30% capacity 2) social distancing in the sancturary 3) masks mandatory 4) no singing 5) no Sunday school or after worship coffee fellowship. The leadership is doing a survey to see if there are enough people willing to meet all of those conditions....if not we're going to continue on-line which was always running anyway, there's been a youtube channel for years to allow those who can't make it on Sunday to watch on-line.

I'm very conflicted on it.....I wish church was still open and that it was left to individual choice. I've spoken to the pastor and he's told me there are members who absolutey DO NOT want the church re-opening until there's a vaccine or the virus has been erradicated. I've said I will attend even with the conditions.

But apparently there are also concerns from the church's insurance company.....hence the conditions for reopening.

1st Amendment law firms are pushing back as we speak. Technically AG Barr has already declared the church as essential. Just hang in there and do what the Lord is prompting y'all to do. Y'all hurry up and split the state as half conservative lol

I'm unclear why you can't worship outside? I am sure most early church gatherings were held outside.

During Jesus' earthly ministry there was certainly a lot that took place outside, obviously the sermon on the mount springs immediately to mind. But Jesus also preached in the temples. For about the first 300 years services were often held indoors in people's homes because of persecutions by Rome which ebbed and flowed until Constantine organized and adapted Christian teaching to fit with Roman society.

You can disobey government bodies who require you to sin. My question is if whether or not California is doing that.

Our church has been meeting outside under a big tent for a month. We have been seeing as many or more than when we were inside.
We are getting new young people from the community, who have been struggling with addictions and want to get free.

All things work together for good to those who are love God and are called according to His Purpose. God is in control not man. What is man, he is grass. The Arm of the Lord is being revealed. We are assembling and I really like the way we are taking it public. If the houses in the neighborhood are not drowning us out with their own TVs I know they can hear every word being preached.
And people are coming out of curiosity.

Can you imagine if all churches everywhere just assembled outside with loud speakers and had church? This could be a very positive thing.

1Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

2Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

9Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?

10Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?

11Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

12I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;

Probably the new ordinance is only for churches, but not mosques and pagan places of worship, as it usually goes...? The unjust leaders are there because people have sinned. As well as the global natural disasters. We should also pray about that. Just prayed.

we do not have a big tent. Yes we are doing church outside as we have been doing it inside as we have been doing it via live streaming That is not the point. maybe this is ok In Canada, or other places but in the United States this is a violation of out civil rights.

Just as Paul when he was unjustly thrown in jail HE made it known it was not right as he was a Roman citizen. IF God is telling you to have services out side great IF you agree that your Governor can tell you how to worship your God fine, but NOT me and not hundreds more who have been joining us and others in this week of fasting and prayer for the three areas which this thread is more about.

1. repent & revival 2. Unity of the Body of Christ 3. removal of unjust leaders. You can say amen or not. You can have your service outside and be told how to worship that is between you and God. And God bless you for what ever you do. That an't me :)

wow sound like fear. IF we wait until vaccine many church will not open. or the people will come back. you name it we are doing it .

Online, Youtube , live streaming, inside, outside, social distancing , taking temps before entering, pre-sanitation church an after service. 25% capacity two service to four services. can't sing unless you wear a mask not no outside worshiping because it my offend somebody. The POTUS has said we are " Church" and places of worship essential . Leadership weak and frankly cowards .

CSI,
hub and I feel your pain and your zeal,
our prayers are with you...

it is so very obvious that many have been caught-up
in the thoughts of many un-godly people,
but they will not stand against The Mind of God...

When all this started several months ago now, I posted comments saying the Church should stand up and not bow to the Governments closing down their Worship Services.

Many here criticized me for being selfish in wanting to worship God and not obey the restrictions of man. Will you get the same?

Hmm.........

My Church up the street, Harvest, is having services outside as well as streaming online. Each week the number of salvations are over 1,000 and so far since the start of this 75,000 saved and coming to the Lord online streaming.. We are told to pray for our government and obey, not just the Republican ones. Lord knows they both need our prayers.
'What the enemy means for evil, God will turn for good' and that's the Truth.

yea its in the Bible to obey govts, even if they are restricting you on things (some are taking emergency measures) you may not like it, but even godless govts have to bow down to God eventually.

and actually there IS a virus going round, and people are catching it and spreading it from large gatherings.
Its also in the Bible that when two or three are gathered in my name, there I am in the midst, so certainly you can still worship in groups of two or three indoors.

stop saying its a thing that only churches are dealing with, cos ALL indoor gatherings are restricted not just church ones. There is just no reason to believe its a plot to stop churches from worshipping. none of the churches I know have actually stopped worshipping altogether when sermons are being live streamed and people are praying for each other distantly.

when people spread silly rumours like that it just generates hatred and misunderstandings. Its not as if the govts are saying you cant pray, and youve got to bow down to this idol when we play this music as it did in Daniels day, and we are gonna throw you to the lions if you dont.

Hitler did that...
