Hi,

I saw a thread like this at another forum and thought I’d start one here.

Simply share whatever Bible verses come to mind or whatever you feel like sharing in the moment.

Godspeed.

Here are my Bible verses:

Matthew 6:9-13 (KJV) 9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. - John 10:16

Deuteronomy 11
18 You shall therefore impress these words of mine on your heart and on your soul; and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontals on your forehead.
19 You shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up.
20 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,

21 so that your days and the days of your sons may be multiplied on the land which the LORD swore to your fathers to give them, as long as the heavens remain above the earth.

Ephesians 6:10-17

10 A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.
11 Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.
12 For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
13 Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
14 Stand your ground, putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness.
15 For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News so that you will be fully prepared.
16 In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil.
17 Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Matthew 5:38-40
38 “You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’[a] 39 But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40 And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well.

So and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall.

John 3:18-21 (REV)

18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and yet people loved the darkness rather than the light, for their works were evil.

20 For everyone who makes a practice of doing worthless things hates the light, and does not come to the light, lest his works are exposed.

21 But whoever is doing the truth comes to the light in order that his works can be clearly seen as having been carried out in connection with God.

Genesis 14:18-20
  1. And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
  2. And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
  3. And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

This is like sharing from the Bible dice site. Good fun.

Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God. - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

John 14:21 (ESV) Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

John 14:24 (ESV) Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me.
