I joined the group to find new people to chat with. People who are Christian minded but maybe don’t have a lot of in person friends. So if anyone is interested In starting an online friendship. I’m 44. Have two older kids and one younger. Also have a grandkid. I was raised Catholic but turned Christian about 4 years ago. Trying to be more into my faith every day. Would like inspiration and encouragement. I enjoy Country music and Christian music. Along with other genres. I’m a good listener and a faithful friend. Just introverted and have a hard time making friends especially at my age. I work in an office that is away from people so it’s just very hard. I’ve made a few acquaintances at church but just miss having normal conversations.

That is so sweet and I see how you feel. If you'd like you can PM me and see where it goes. Many of my friends are in their 40's. I do have duties as I'm a Landlady but would be glad to chat whenever I can!

Completely get where you’re at. Before living for Christ I led a sinful life full of consequences leaving me stuck at home long before Covid19. So making friends hasn’t always been possible for me. Feel free to shoot me a pm if you’d like. I’m always willing to meet new people!

I’m curious, what do introverted people do together? I see some couples at restaurants together, or standing in line or shopping. Nobody says anything. I’m not sure if they are introverted or upset with eachother. Is that what it’s like? I’m the opposite. I don’t stop at talking to people I’m with. I start conversations with strangers if I think they will share my humour. They always do. I have numerous close acquaintances but only a couple of friends. What’s a normal conversation like? I don’t think I’ve ever had one.

Hi Faith,

Can one email on this site? If so send me an email. =-) I like to read, garden and discuss scripture although it is a pretty rough playing field in the forums so I just read. One grandchild here,

Invest in your relationships with your folks. Do things with them and always communicate with them. If i had kids they would be my world. I would take them to church and really help them spiritually and emotionally.

Unless you are a paying member, you cannot start conversations if you joined after the platform change of May 28, 2018.

However, a paying member or anyone who is "grandfathered in" may start a conversation with new members :)
