You do not seem to get it
preacher4truth claimed eg states EG believes god only chooses those who chose him

If EG believes this. They would be correct but EG does not believe this and never has claimed to say this. They also have been shown BY EG that what they’re claiming is not true. So when they continue to make the accusation. It becomes a LIE

and later after having been accused again, responded with this.

YThen this was used as so called proof I did say what P4T said

Instead of asking, WHY did these people come. what brought them to Christ, Did they really chose Christ. or did they chose the gift in faith? (WHich is what I believe)

I got this remark
_______________________________

1 It was an inflammatory remark, whether you think so or not. You were in affect mocking me with your words
2. it was based off what you THINK was said, not what I actually said
3. Considering all the times I showed what I really believed, It is a LIE (whether a lie in ignorance or a willingly known lie does not matter)
4. I called you out on it and will continually call you or anyone else out on it who continues to insist I believe God chose me based on the fact I chose him, WHICH IS A LIE!!!

Once again..

1. I DID NOT CHOSE CHRIST HE CHOSE ME
2. HE CHOSE BASED ON THE GOSPEL. of which I CHOSE TO RECIEVE THAT GOSPEL HE OFFERED AND HAVE IT APPLIED TO ME'
3. I CAME TO FAITH BECAUSE GOD DREW ME, CONVICTED ME AND TAUGHT ME HIS TRUTH. NOT OF MY OWN POWER
4. I CHOSE SALVATION. BASED ON THAT GIFT.

if you continue to insist otherwise, well then that is a major problem
***Sigh***

Keep it up.

I will go by what the bible says

He chose ME before the foundaion of the world. To be holy and blameless.

He knew me, and then he predestined me to be conformed to the image of God

He knew me, and because he knew me he predestined me, and because he predestined me, he chose me, and because he chose me, he justified me, and because he justified me he WILL glorify me

He predestined me to be adopted as his child

I have obtained an inheritance having been predestined.
You go by whatever you think it says, I will stick wiht the word.

Ps. Knowing OF ME, (knowing who I am and what I would do in the future which is the cause of my predestination or chosing) and knowing me personally (after I am saved( are two different things, But nice try.
Right here it is. You said God chose you based off His knowledge of what you’d do in the future. You said that is the cause of your predestination or choosing. He knew you’d be willing to choose Him, so He chose you.

I’m actually pretty sorry for my fellow believers who laugh and jeer and snore at the words of others. They are doing something not good to their hearts.
Such as the Jesus Christ or the apostle Paul?

If the sin (fornication) is forgiven by God it is GONE - He does not remember it
This is true at the beginning of your faith when you first believed.

If you decide to commit fornicate again, then this scripture should make you shake in your boots:

Ezekiel 21:24
[24] Therefore thus says the Lord God; Because you have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that ye are come to remembrance, you shall be taken with the hand.

I do worry and pray for this new thinking that a couple can live together without Marriage, and be Christians. And be accepted in the church.
============================================================================
Stones,
if only this world could identify with your 'moral standards', it would be such a wonderful place to live!!!
and NO, we certainly do not agree with or advocate such 'rebellious, sexual, behaviour'!!!
quite the contrary, for we have had to 'learn' to become more tolerant,...
we have in our 'family, sexually, deviant, behavior, = we have to draw the fine line of,
loving family and taking care of family, while at the same time being TOTALLY LOYAL to GOD and His Ways...,
1TI. 3:5.
(For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of The Church of God?)

You are allowed to believe that if you want - I do not believe that way.

I simply believe the blood of Christ cleanses the believer from each and every sin he commits: no ifs or buts about it! His mercy and his forgiveness are so great and beyond our comprehension! PTL!

But for the unbeliever - it is a completely different story!

In English... "“Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: ‘Because you people have brought to mind your guilt by your open rebellion, revealing your sins in all that you do—because you have done this, you will be taken captive."

1) Why quote from a 400-year-old translation into a language that nobody speaks any more??
2) What does this prophetic verse have anything to do with sex?

Yes, I believe the scripture!

I tremble at the word of God.

So should you my friend:

Isaiah 66:2
[2] ...but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word.

Well, this thinking isn't so new, it's been around a long while. We've dealt with it in the past, encouraged them to get married, but they'd look for another church that didn't care if they lived that way. Repentance being questioned as part of the Gospel is part of the problem.

A few on here apparently wouldn't care either. Drunkenness and adultery are OK, and practicing these things is of no consequence, they are encouraged it is OK and their "Christianity" is endorsed in spite of 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Galatians 5:19-21, Ephesians 5:5ff -- all texts written to warn professing believers to not be deceived that they are saved when they practice these things.

Sigh

ypu should learn to read and stop assuming so much, I get sick of it

chosing me based on what I would do is NOT the same as chosing me BECAUSE I chose him
you All have posted countless things and one one of the, declare god chose me because I chose him,

instead of assuming things, it would be more christlike if you asked what I meant.

thats what gets you all in trouble, you assume (wrong) then when the person you assume tells you you did not understand them hey did not say what you claim, you get mad and we have this war for a few days about who did this and who did that.

dont you guys get sick of it?

Oy! Another single OT verse to prove a doctrine.

Isaiah 66:1-4...

"This is what the Lord says:

“Heaven is my throne,
and the earth is my footstool.
Where is the house you will build for me?
Where will my resting place be?
Has not my hand made all these things,
and so they came into being?”
declares the Lord.

"These are the ones I look on with favor:
those who are humble and contrite in spirit,
and who tremble at my word.
But whoever sacrifices a bull
is like one who kills a person,
and whoever offers a lamb
is like one who breaks a dog’s neck;
whoever makes a grain offering
is like one who presents pig’s blood,
and whoever burns memorial incense
is like one who worships an idol.
They have chosen their own ways,
and they delight in their abominations;
so I also will choose harsh treatment for them
and will bring on them what they dread.
For when I called, no one answered,
when I spoke, no one listened.
They did evil in my sight
and chose what displeases me.”

Clearly this section is about animal sacrifice offered by hypocritical Jews. It has nothing to do with the New Covenant, where believers are regarded as God's own children.

Paul quoted the underlined passage below from Habakkuk 1:5

Acts 13:40-42
[40] Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets; [41] Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you. [42] And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

If you were in the crowd I bet you would have quoted that portion of Habakkuk And told Paul, Clearly this section is about the Chaldeans, not about future people not believing about a man being resurrected.

Habakkuk 1:5-7
[5] Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you. [6] For, lo, I raise up the Chaldeans, that bitter and hasty nation, which shall march through the breadth of the land, to possess the dwellingplaces that are not theirs. [7] They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves.

Why does this 400 year old book bother you so much?
1) Because it is nothing more than an outdated translation written in a dead language. We live in the 21st Century and think-read-write in a form of English that is completely different than the KJV.

2) There are many more and better ancient documents that translators use to create modern Bibles than were available 400+ years ago.

3) People ascribe a certain purity to the KJV that is simply fictitious.

4) The KJV text is divided into stand-alone verses that lead to out-of-context, erroneous interpretations of Scripture. Modern Bibles have done away with this formatting, leading to better interpretation.

5) People seem to think that the Bible was written in beautiful language, whereas it was written in the common (plain) languages of the time: Hebrew, Aramaic (Jesus' language), and Koine Greek (the universal "street" language of the 1st Century). The KJV inspires a false religiosity that has nothing in common with either the original languages or the culture of the time.

Jesus was a plain, rural man who spoke to people in his and their own language. Every Bible translation should reflect the true language and meaning of the original documents.

2 Corinthians 12:9 (ESV)
“. . . My grace is sufficient for you, . . ."

The following verse I would like to KNOW how people who want to believe you can lose yours salvation,
when these VERSES CLEARLY puts the reponsibility for KEEPING OUR SALVATION, TOTALLY ON GOD'S OWN SHOULDERS:

Romans 8:28-30 (ESV)
28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.
30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

Can Once Save Always Saved be any clearer than that ? ? ?

I think they are counting all disciples, which only means FOLLOWERS, NOT SAVED FOLLOWERS.

They are counting the MANY on the wide road going to Hades/Hell - TOO.

Matthew 7:13-14 (HCSB)
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction,
and there are
many who go through it.
14 How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it.
