I believe that God is talking about the deeds someone does that they will accumulate eventually at the judgement seat of Christ. Like giving to the poor, and praying for people and evangelising, etc. There are the things we want in this life and there are other things that God wants for us to do for his glory and namesake. look at spiritual and natural things and you will be able to understand what the heavenly treasures are.
