I have past the point of no return,

The final threshold and frontier.

Better is being saved from hell

And prepared for heaven.

I had to hit rock bottom of that bog;

Be broken, to truly understand.

Desperately I reached for the hand of Jesus

To save me from drowning.

Now I wade in, walk and talk

With the living water.

I believe, know and understand

Everything relates to God first hand.

Jesus Christ explains me better than I.

Once blind, now I see plus seek

The face of God

Through Thee One and only Way,

Jesus Christ, Lord of all.

My vehicle speeds up mountains,

Not daring to slow down.

The straight and narrow road following Christ

Leads to the narrow gate of heaven.

All travel at their own pace on His time.

The only one way border leads into hell.

Jesus Christ is not a drug.

The Son of God is the cure.

Countless real Christians have discovered this daily.

It is our doctoring discipleship duty

To save all dying

In mind, heart, body and soul.

Else get high and numb on hedonism...

My time tested true Saviour, perfect, pure; holy,

Gives His church body to be part of

With purpose, protection and peace.

Yes, Jesus Christ returns very soon.

All but few prophesies have been fulfilled.

Listen, God's Word is calling you home.

We all truly do know.

No excuses, time reduces.

Sin to pay, seize the day!

I am no satanic prophet.

I bear my cross willingly.

See the enemy for what he does and is.

Yet I rejoice, alive and well.

PS Thank you, Reformyourself, for your comments. Yes, I confess but do not really apologize for not loving my enemies. I have started to pray for such people, and God is working on me through this practice. I feel better immediately after and cannot wait, so to speak, for the results and my transformation. Also, you single out the word, "deranged." Yes, this poem tells a very specific story relating to half my life's testimony and to this day. I will get into it further as this thread progresses. It can be taken in a very general way as well, in how secular people view us "Christians," especially the very devout ones. Thanks again, Reformyourself; God bless.

"questionable" at best, plus hard to decode with the way I wrote, especially secrets and inner thoughts. The following is an example of that "dead era," even though I intended to wait and "warm up" this thread first. Please take all I say into consideration, Reformyourself, as I was a lump of coal in the rough.

I do not know what to do with myself. I look for signs. I find one.

Now everything relates to that sign. An elated meaning all meant for me.

I go forth reading all the signs relating to that one find… rather the one found me.

The one is all encompassing now. It carries and ferries me freely through frothy waters.

I am solid, so they say yet the fluid around me shows all possibilities of the sum of one.

I am not listening to them. I am listening to the one. For the first three months it is fun.

That was what was planned. The flames were fanned. Now my actions are banned.

This is what makes us damned. Unlawfully pushed into poverty: poor souls.

I come back righting none of the crimes dividing my mind… rather I too lost you.

The true are all seeing me through. They care for me. I dare not bare my soul see…

Before I had Christ, I had my father to save me. One day in his wisdom, he encouraged me to write a poem while I was in a good mood. This was quite the revelation and epiphany for me and to this very day. Since before, I had always used poetry to vent, deal with life, problem solve or essentially help me out of the mood and/or mess I was in. Thanks to Dad, I wrote this poem, when actually happy and care free.

'Terrance the Pomme de Terre'

Terrance the pomme de terre
hid his roots under there
in a garden growing green. He
was plump for french fries;
the biggest potato ever seen.
The farmer picked him and washed him clean
(He didn't hear Terrance scream).
He didn't mean to make him scream
but Terrance bit him clean on the nose.
It was the strangest thing to the farmer had
ever been part of and it caused an idea
to be thought up
(not to mention the welt).
"I believe I'll call you
Terrance the biting potato
and set up a booth,"
the farmer winced. So
the farmer put up a crate in his dirt driveway and
a sign that said
"Twenty-five cents a bite."
People drove by and snickered at such a sight
until finally a young lady stopped with
a friend and her camera.
She laid down her quarter and opened her mouth wide to
make a funny picture.
Terrance had to think fast. Terrance
puckered up and kissed the young lady full on the lips.
They fell in love
and bought the farm from the happy farmer.

Forgiving others by putting them first by praying for them, even enemies, is new to me and making me feel and live brand new. I believe and know countless people pray for me. This is why "I have it so good" despite my past. Honesty and honour has always been [my father's and] my policy, even when I was fit and fated for hell.
