This storm has caused and continues to cause far more problems than anyone thought it would. I can't believe that all these years since Katrina (for those who remember that storm), Local, State Governments, and the Federal Government have mads such sorry improvements to protect people from such storms as these.......... sad, truly sad.

Aren't you in summer though? Do you have storms in summer?
We only have them in winter. We are expecting one this Thursday.

I once went fishing and I wasn't very good at casting that is I couldn't cast out very far. Anyway I thought I'm never going to get anything so I said to God "I'm never going to catch anything at this rate. I really wish I could cast out really far so I had a better chance of getting bites. Anyway I cast out and this seagull came flying out of nowhere, grabbed my line as I cast it with the bait on and flew out really far and then just dropped it. I could see that the bait was still on the hook and it was like I had cast our really far. I had to laugh and say "Thankyou God' I waited for a few minutes but no bites and reeled it in thinking the bait must of come off. Well it didn't. Who knows if I left it I might have caught a whopper.

I've said it before but worth saying again, this room is terrific no matter how down the day may be these posts ALWAYS put a smile on my face and when I show them to my husband I end up laughing again with him. Thank you all sooooo much for your posts. You all are terrific.

so, we were all geared up ready to take the kiddos to see the new minion movie this summer (er, that should read "I was looking forward to hubs taking the kiddos out to the movies for a few hours of quiet time alone at home this summer.......)
but like several others, it has been pushed out.
I was reading up on it and found out that when Covid-19 hit, they hadn't even finished filming....
Now it's set to release July 2, 2021

Our worst storms usually come from April to November........ Tornados, Huricanes, and various other storms.

The funny part is that people fishing from the shore try to cast out as far as they can, and people fishing from a boat try to cast as close to the shore as they can........

Truth is, the fish are all over, it's just a matter of finding them. Bait fish often stay close to shore, so the predator fish swim close in to catch them. However, at times, bait fish will swim in a bait ball further out, and then the predators chase them in deeper water......

It's called fishing for a reason............it isn't called CATCHING...... :)

This came past my home last evening..........it was rotating, but, thank God, it did not form a cone and touch down.

It may look far away, but it's only about 1/8th of a mile from my porch.......

I usually cast the line without any thought or plan and usually catch the most or the biggest. It really annoys my brother in law
