That's your imagination. It goes way off track sometimes. But are you sinning to claim it is God speaking? He only speaks through scripture since there are no more prophets.

I too have also had Holy Spirit speak scriptures I hadn't read before.

Faith to overcome daily troubles comes from scripture, not voices in a person's head. Scripture is the sword of the Spirit.

He speaks to me also and helps me in my daily life......we have a wonderful personal relationship with our Father...it’s the most precious gift anyone could have.....I wouldn’t trade it for all the money in the world.

Wrong! I know what I heard...it got me praying that The Lord would have mercy on their souls (if there were 10 believers there)...there was another instance though, around the same time. I asked The Lord what I could do to make Him accept me, I got “I already accept you”. NOW, That’s not in scripture, so there we have it 😐

Aaha, I have another one...I had only just started believing in Jesus (reading John), when John mackay came to our church (the creation guy). I prayed, then told The Lord ‘I cant get my head around the creation thing, so I’ll just believe in Jesus because that’s what you want me to do’...I got “if you do not believe Moses and the prophets, you will not believe in Me”...then I read Genesis 1, and believed in a literal 6 day creation! THEN I came across like 16:31! Ok, so i know it was a slightly different in the verse, but it was in my head for days until I wrote it down 😬

I quote memory verses from years ago. That's God's word. Think of it this way. The Word is Spirit and life. It creates faith in a supernatural way. You are cheating yourself out of this chasing your imagination thinking it is God.

Amen!....spot on....when God’s spirit speaks to our spirit....the same when he testified to my spirit that he was God..how else would I know who he was....all biblical.

I almost passed this over but it seems God said I should read it and then decide.

I very much concur with the fact that now is the time for spiritual warfare and also prayer for mercy. Evil would overwhelm the world. The devil always tries to get ahead of God.
