Is it Jesus precious stone or stumbling stone?
Many people think on walking in Christ only to get free of problems. However, it’s no use walking in Christ, but wrenching His wisdom and judgment. Many times we are going with Jesus, but trusting on our “wisdom” which is based on the “wisdom” of this world which, in turn, is foolishness before Jesus (1Corinthians 3.19).
We can see this in the temptation of Jesus:
In fact, what Ha-Satan said was written:
Nevertheless, the main meaning of this prophecy in regard to Jesus is:
And this prophecy only was uttered because Jesus, as a Lamb of the Creator, had to be perfect and without blemish (1Peter 2.19).
Nonetheless, the Lamb of the Creator had to be perfect, not only physically, but in His soul and spirit. If He sinned, His physical preservation would be meaningless.
So, let’s seek out the true judgment, justice, knowledge, understanding and wisdom in relation to the Creator’s word, so that we can be founded in the Cornerstone, instead of stumbling in Him and being broken:
May Jesus impart you access to His presence, the privilege of hearing His voice, the insight to discern His message and the necessary grace for you to live in according to His will and, thus, you can be blessed and safe forever (instead of losing the greatest moment of your life – as took place with the people of John 12.28-31).
- “My son, do not let them depart from your eyes; keep sound wisdom and judgment, then you shall walk in your way safely, and your foot shall not stumble.” (Proverbs 3.21,23).

We can see this in the temptation of Jesus:
- “And he said to Him, If you are the Son of God, cast yourself down. For it is written, "He shall give His angels charge concerning You, and in their hands they shall bear You up, lest at any time You dash Your foot against a stone."” (Matthew 4.6).
In fact, what Ha-Satan said was written:
- “They shall bear You up in their hands, lest You dash your foot against a stone. “ (Psalms 91.12).
Nevertheless, the main meaning of this prophecy in regard to Jesus is:
- “Then the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first, and of the other who was crucified with Him. But when they came to Jesus and saw that He was already dead, they did not break His legs. For these things were done so that the Scripture might be fulfilled, "*Not a bone of Him shall be broken.*" (John 19.32,33,36).

- “Why? Because it was not of faith, but as it were by the works of the Law. For they stumbled at that Stumbling-stone; as it is written, "Behold, I lay in Zion a Stumbling-stone and a Rock-of-offense, and everyone believing on Him shall not be put to shame." (Romans 9.32,33).
- “And he who falls on this Stone shall be broken, but on whomever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.” (Matthew 21.44).
