The Old Testament saints rose on the day Christ rose and they are in heaven now. This is not a future event. The rest of us will be changed as soon is we leave this body.
I think you're reading comprehension skills are failing you. Because what I posted and what other people posted makes it perfectly clear that the ENIRE BODY is raised in an instant and altogether.

I really don't know how else I can help you because it's so crystal-clear that even a child can understand it. Yet you have continually denied these imperturbable facts.

I think your guilty conscience is accusing you. I'm not.
Okay, if you want to be silly, I'm done with you. You don't get to toss out groundless insults and then shi(f)t blame onto me for it.

Mat 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

Mat 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

We’re these people in Christ?
We’re they resurrected from the dead?

I tend to agree with your assertion. Converting during the great tribulation a.k.a. tribulation saints is an almost certain death sentence.
That is why those who subscribed to covenant theology will find this impossible to accept, since they will stand their ground and insist that it will still be by grace thru faith apart from works, even during the Tribulation.

Yep. Part of the firstfruits (Jesus first of course). Definitely not every single Saint that's for sure.

Why in the world would you believe that only some of the saints were raised and the rest were left? Were these super saints or God's favorites or was it that they were so close to Jesus' grave that some of Jesus' resurrection power spilled over on them?

It's up to you buddy. But I do truly pray that you review this thread and reconsider your position and accept the pretrib premillennial doctrine. It really is the correct doctrine that is underpinned in undergirded by immense amount of Scriptures.

My friend you're full of questions. I applaud you for that. But you must consider the entire council of God when making assertions. The correct application of Scripture indicates that these Saints are certainly and without doubt part of the firstfruits. And the number of them probably isn't that great, But we have no way of knowing exactly how many there were.

This was foretold in Daniel.

Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Dan 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Did you notice that at the time when MANY but not all the saints were raised in Daniel is the exact same time as Jacobs trouble?

"Rose"?
Correction "will rise".

Furthermore you may have failed to notice that verse 16 indicates that all, the sum total, of every Christian in the history of the world, shall altogether be raised..... together...as ONE BODY.

1 Corinthians chapter 15:52 once again makes this phenomenon perfectly clear. ALL of the Christians who have fallen asleep will be raised altogether and instantaneously.

"in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed."

Your proposal that Christians are raised someway, somehow, single file into their eternal new glorious bodies is completely bogus.
Amen! The fact that the scripture states that those who are still alive will be caught up to meet those who will have previously resurrected in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, would demonstrate that this is a group event which will take place at the same time.

Do you know why the Bible couldn’t say that all the Old Testament saints were raised when Jesus was raised? It is because Jesus had already raised Lazarus and a couple of other Old Testament saints before Jesus died.

Act 1:11 (KJV) Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Jud 1:14 (KJV) And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

Jesus will return the same way he left in the book of Acts. Jude says that Christ will return with ten thousands of his saints. That means that Jesus, leaving in the same manner as he returns, left with ten thousands of his saints.

Shore do it is just like...
Mat 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

Seems to me you are dealing more with a Hebraism.

Exact same verbiage. So when was Jacobs trouble?

They weren't raised to glorified bodies and they subsequently died.

Time of Jacobs trouble pinned down to the exact time in Daniel and Matthew.... the resurrection of Christ.

Them dry bones brought back to life, the exact same story as Matthew and Daniel.

Eze 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.
Eze 37:13 And ye shall know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,
Eze 37:14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the LORD have spoken it, and performed it, saith the LORD.

Looks like the 2000 year 70 weeks gap theory is proven false by the Bible itself. Or maybe the resurrection that happens after the seven year time of Jacobs trouble tribulation just after the church is raptured outta here is just a partial resurrection. Hmmm I wonder which of those two is true.
