So they were saying to Him, "Who are You?" Jesus said to them, "What have I been saying to you from the beginning? ~ John 8:25

The Jews were willfully ignorant because chapters 1-8 demonstrate that multiple witnesses testified to Jesus' identity, and Jesus Himself in words and actions persistently proved throughout His ministry on earth that He was the Son of God and Messiah. – John MacArthur

Just before verse 25 Jesus once again said who He was. Sometimes when speaking to people they just don’t seem to get it or they don’t want to get it. And even now the people that say that Jesus is not God don’t seem to or don’t want to get it, even when it states Jesus is God over and over in the Bible. It is very frustrating when this happens. Do any of you ever seem to have this happen to you? Just curious.

I believe that unless a person is born again, they cannot see the kingdom or what pertains to it. They do OK with history, original languages, and logic which often passes for truth. but they are blind to the meaning of many scriptures they dissect with amazing skill.

C.S.Lewis once said Jesus was either a "Lunatic, Liar, or Lord", or "Mad, Bad, or God"

A Christian apologist can easily defeat the first two claims and prove the third claim. So once a unbeliever who actually intellectually accepts this reality then the only option is to simply say I dont care. Then they will use arguments to try and say why this God isnt worthy of worship. By saying God is evil or a jealous strict dictator.

Many dont care if it was true, they still prefer self over God.

I believe too many people are influenced by what other people say and believe like denominations, and they lay a foundation for people that sounds right, and that is how they interpret the scriptures.

Like Jehovah's witnesses that say Jesus is a created God, but the Bible says that Jesus is God that has no beginning, and God said there was no God formed before Him, and there shall be no God formed after Him,and there is no God beside Him.

And there is no such thing as a created God for God means supreme being, and everything created by God is of physical matter which cannot be a supreme being.

And God says He does not give His glory to another, but Jesus received glory and honor, and receives glory, and honor, and praise from the saints.

But this happens with many Bible truths that people do not understand plain scripture, or they do not see it because of the foundation that other people already laid.

But a lot of people do like to hear scripture according to how they like to hear it.

Which the Bible says the time will come the world will not want to hear the Bible according to sound doctrine, but want to hear it according to their own lusts, the new age movement, evolution is religion, and they are still evolving, which they exalt themselves, and there is no personal God.

Would people reading the Bible by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and not going to Church do better for the understanding of the people that claim Christ overall.

Well, what the pharisees never could. His ,"job" was much more, HE had to carry and to pay the worlds, our, sin. Nobody else then HIM could do this. And HE die.

If he wasn't God then he spoke blasphemy constantly and the pharisee's were in right in saying he did all his wonders and miracles through the power of the devil and thus his sacrifice was meaningless and we are all under the curse of sin still... not really that hard to understand even though there are even christians who seem to believe he was never god but hey you do you i guess...

you know this is actually good question I think we need to seach or=ur own hearts about. Yes we are his chyildren we are christians but who are we really? people are divided into different sects of demoniations and personally I never liked that I think it just brings division not unity a kingdom divided cannot stand and his kingdom is the kingdom of all kingdoms.
I actually tend to ponder this a lot and also the roles of which we are set in prophets teachers pastors evengalists we all have different roles but only one standing in his kingdom and that is that we are his.
I think no matter what denomination you resemble or what role you plaay he wants us to be willing to be used for all purposes not what we think or believe we are to do and be.

So I think the words spoken at the burning bush is best for this, I am that I am. We all wonder what our purpose is, where we stand in his kingdom , what we are to do and be in this life for him and I think the answer is all of the above. he isn't looking for the strong, the holy and righteous, the wise and the insightful he is looking for the willing those who offer him all of themselves and to be his wonder card. Regardless of our gifts regardless of our roles or denominations I think we need to think deeper on I am that I am because that is the mentality he is searching for.

Yes ... I also find that even among believers (or those who claim to be believers), there are those who follow men ... and this causes division in the body of Christ:

1 Corinthians 1:

9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

...

1 Corinthians 3:

3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?

4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

"Who are you?"

Me? Glad you asked. I'm the one Jesus took upon Himself the form of man, came down to earth and gave His life on Calvary's Cross for............ He is really a loving Person, and was concerned that He would hurt the rest of y'alls feelings, so He went on and included y'all into His saving grace......

But, don't be confused............. HE LOVED ME BEST!

Even more to the point that it's revealed in your spirit by the Father!

Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

Amen! Jesus is God. My wife and I were watching our online church service on TV yesterday and our Pastor was discussing this very topic in Colossians 2:9 and pointed this out below:
