To be baptised is to become a part of, and to be entered into. Many see the word baptism and think mostly of water, but there are many others as listed. We should know all of them and their functions. See Hebrews 5: 12-14 and continuing the context into 6: 1-3. Baptisms are part of the foundation, but the growing processes are found in the obedience to God's word, ( moving onto perfection, verse one) AFTER the foundations of understanding are established.
