I was reading Mark, and noticed John the Baptist talking about being baptized in the Holy Spirit. Then it dawned on me: how long did they know about Him? I know He didn’t come perhaps in the way we think now, but how early did the people’s know that He was part of the trinity? Hm...
Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Gen 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
1Co 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him.
Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
The Bible said the Son was made according to the flesh, and when the fulness of the time came God sent forth His Son, made of a woman, made under the law.
The Bible says the Lord is that Spirit.
Jesus said to Philip if he has seen Him, then he has seen the Father.
And Jesus said the Holy Spirit is the Comforter that will come to them, which He said I will not leave you comfortless but I will come to you.
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit.
The Spirit moved in creation, all things are of the Father, and Jesus created all things.
The Bible says there is only one God, the Father, who is above all.
Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are not names but titles, and Jesus created all things, came in flesh, and dwells in the saints, which Peter said baptize in Jesus' name, and Jews, Gentiles, and Samaritans were all baptized in Jesus' name.
Some people believe in a trinity, but I believe there is one God, who is a Holy Spirit, and Father is a title of God, and the Son is the man Christ Jesus whose deity is God.
Not 3 persons in a trinity, but the 3 relationships God has with His children designated by titles.
Father- Creator of all things, and parent of the saints.
Son- God's visible relationship to the saints, which the throne in heaven is the throne of God and the Lamb, God in the glorified body of the man Christ Jesus, and Jesus at the right hand means that God exalted the man Christ Jesus to exercise the throne of power for he is the mediator until His enemies are conquered, and then the Son shall submit to the Father that God may be all in all, and the Son is God in visible activity.
Holy Spirit- God's invisible relationship to the saints, and God in invisible activity, which the Bible says that Jesus dwells in the light which no man can approach unto, and no person has ever seen Jesus, and no person will ever see Jesus, for He is the invisible God, but showed a visible image of Himself.
