And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his Commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the Earth (Deuteronomy 28:1)

In this tremendous Chapter, we have a promise of Blessings which are absolutely unparalleled. Some may argue that the Lord did these things for Israel under the Old Covenant, but will not do them for modern Christians under the New Covenant. There is nothing in the Word of God that even remotely lends credence to such an idea. We presently have, in fact, a much better Covenant, based on better Promises than anything in the Old Covenant (Hebrews 8:6).

In this panoply of Promises, five great things are said.
They are:

1. "And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you": This literally means that the blessings of the Lord will literally chase down the individual. What a promise! (Deuteronomy 28:2).

2. "The LORD shall command the Blessing upon you": At this moment, if we will only believe it, the Lord is commanding blessing upon us. We must believe it, expect it, and receive it (Deuteronomy 28:8).

3. "And the LORD shall make you plenteous in goods": "Plenty" is what the Lord here promises. The word "goods" means everything that we need, whatever it might be (Deuteronomy 28:11).

4. "The LORD shall open unto you His good treasure": The Lord here tells us that we Believers literally have access to the treasure house of Heaven. Again, what a Promise! (Deuteronomy 28:12)

5. "And the LORD shall make you the head and not the tail": To use an earthly vernacular, someone, regarding an Alaskan dog-sled team, has well said, "if you're not the lead dog, the view never changes." To continue to use the earthly vernacular, the Lord intends for His People to be the "lead dog" (Deuteronomy 28:13).

All of this is made possible by the Cross!

Without Faith it is impossible to please God; and the only Faith God will accept is Faith in His Beloved Son Jesus Christ and His Atoning Sacrificial Work at Calvary Cross. It is called "The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus" (Rom. 8:2).

All and every commandment is kept by the Holy Spirit if the Believer is operating and understand "The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus!" (Romans 8:2)

Majority of Christians are living under the "Law of Sin and Death." Very few Christians live in "The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus."

There are seven great Laws outlined in the New Testament, all devised and created by God. They are:
1. The Law of God (Romans 7:22)
2. The Law of Sin and Death (Romans 7:23)
3. The Law of the Mind (Romans 7:23)
4. The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:2)
5. The Law of Faith (Romans 3:27)
6. The Law of Christ (Gal. 6:2); and,
7. The Law of Liberty (James 1:25)

Romans 8:13 says, "If you live after the flesh, you shall die: but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live" (i.e., all Laws of God and commandments of Jesus can only be kept by the Holy Spirit when the Believer place his Faith exclusively in Christ and His Finished Work, i.e., the Cross, i.e., the Blood of Jesus).

Paul warns the Believer, he said, "For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, (the) sin (nature) revived, and I died (failed God by sinning, using the flesh) (Romans 7:9)."

The Way Of The Spirit
Focus: The Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6)
Object Of Faith: The Cross of Christ (Romans 6:1-14)
Power Source: The Holy Spirit (Romans 8:1-2, 11)
Results: Victory (Romans 6:14)

Man's Way
Focus: Works.
Object Of Faith: Performance.
Power Source: Self.
Results: Defeat!

We only overcome by the Blood (the Cross) of the Lamb (God Beloved Son Jesus Christ) and the word of our testimony. Our testimony must never change and always be Faith in Christ and Him Crucified!!!!!!!

The scripture says that the “life of the flesh is in the blood, i.e., (the soul of the flesh is in the blood- physically and spiritually).” Lev.17:11

Therefore, if the scriptures aren’t pointed to “Cross (The Blood of Jesus),” there is no life in you (John 6:53). Rev. 3:1

Paul said in Romans 2:16, all will be judged according to his gospel - “Christ Crucified (1 Cor. 2:2)!!!!!!!

Every jot and every tittle must point to the Cross.

Doesn't the life of the flesh become by the Spirit of God because he gives life to our mortal body.

Doesn't the life of the flesh become by the Spirit of God because he gives life to our mortal body.
Lev. 17:11

“11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood (it should be translated “for the soul of the flesh is in the blood”; the Hebrew word here rendered “life” occurs twice more in this very Verse, and is properly translated “soul”): and I have given it to you upon the Altar to make an Atonement for your souls: for it is the blood (the Blood of Christ) that makes an Atonement for the soul. (This latter phrase plainly and purely tells us that the Death of Christ on the Cross, which was brought about by the shedding of His Precious Blood, which means that in the shedding of His Blood, His Life poured out, is not only the means of Salvation, but, in fact, is the only means of Salvation.

The expositor says: “When man duly takes his place as one possessing no title whatsoever to life — when he fully recognizes God’s claims upon him, then the Divine record is, ’I have given you the life to make an Atonement for your soul.’ Yes, Atonement is God’s gift to man; and be it carefully noted that this Atonement is in the Blood, and only in the Blood and we speak of the Blood of Christ. It is not the Blood and something else. The Word is most explicit. It attributes Atonement exclusively to the Blood” [Heb. 9:22; Eph. 1:7; Col. 1:14; I Jn. 1:6; Rev., Chpt. 12].)”

The Study of Righteousness - For with the heart man believes unto Righteousness...Romans 10:10

Psalms 33:4 and Proverbs 8:7-8 says, that every Word that God has ever spoken is in "Truth and in Righteousness." According to the gospel that Paul preached, "Righteousness is only awarded by God if our Faith is placed and maintained exclusively in Christ Jesus and the Finished Work of the Lamb of God at Calvary Cross (Rom. 4:5). Therefore, no man or woman can see, hear, or understand if "Righteousness is not awarded and will be operating from a make believe and pretend salvation that Jesus says that they may have a name but they are dead (Rev. 3:1). Everything they have and everything in their life will become a hinderance to them because of the "Law of sin and death (Rom. 8:2)." Confusion - conflict and death.

“Imputed Righteousness” is Righteousness that we do not earn, and cannot earn, and neither can we merit such. It is freely given to the believing sinner upon confession of Faith in Christ. It is the only type of Righteousness that God will accept, because it’s based on the perfect Righteousness of Christ. It is obtained by evidencing Faith in Christ and His Perfect Sacrifice of Himself.

It is by "Grace" through "Faith" that the "Temple" is built. The "Temple was to be built under Solomon; not the sound of a hammer, not the sound of a tool, i.e., not one sound of mans labor.

The only thing that God will accept from any Believer is "Faith" in His Son Jesus and the Cross of Calvary where the victory was won, i.e., The Finished Work, i.e., The Blood of Jesus.

Because the Believer is in Christ, all commandments are kept by the Holy Spirit which is impossible for any Believer to keep. If Christ is a law-keeper than the Believer is a law-keeper.

Again It is by "Grace" through "Faith" that the "Temple" is built. Not by labor - not by performance - not by Christian disciplines.

We must not stop the "Golden Oil" coming from the "Bowl of the Baptism of the Holy Spirit" that has seven pipes leading into our earthly vessels - both the will and to do. In this “sevenfold fullness,” we find all the “help” that we need in order to live this life and to be what we ought to be in the Lord ((Isa. 11:1-2, Zechariah 4:1-14, Jn. 14:16-18, Rev. 5:6).

Tragically, the modern Church seeks to live for God without the help of this “sevenfold fullness.” Even though the Holy Spirit most definitely resides in the heart and life of every single Believer, irrespective of the spiritual condition of such a Believer, still, what He can do is only potential. In other words, His help is not automatic.

But every single Believer can have this “sevenfold fullness” if the Believer will place his faith absolutely and exclusively in the Cross. The Holy Spirit always works within the parameters of the Finished Work of Christ. The Cross ever being the Object of our Faith, then the Holy Spirit will work mightily on our behalf, giving us the benefit of “His sevenfold fullness,” but only if our faith is properly placed in Christ and the Cross. He tells us this in Romans 8:2.”

His sevenfold fullness.” Those attributes are: “Spirit, Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Might, Knowledge, and Fear.”

Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and verily you shall be fed (in other words, don’t look to the wicked or at the wicked, but rather “the Lord,” and in Him put your “trust”).

Delight yourself also in the LORD: and He shall give you the desires of your heart (what a Promise!).

Commit your way unto the LORD; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass.

And He shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday (these things will ultimately be rewarded).

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass (in Verses 3-7 we have the four keys to a victorious life: “Trust,” “Delight,” “Commit,” and “Rest”). Psalms 37

This can only be done if the Believer place there Faith exclusively in Christ and His Finished Work at Calvary, i.e., The Cross, i.e., The Blood of Jesus (Romans 8:2). This allows the Holy Spirit who works strictly in the parameters of Christ and the Finished Work to accomplish this for us (Romans 8:2).

“if the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the Earth: if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it shall be (Eccl. 11:3).

In this one Chapter, we are given God’s Formula for success. It is as follows:

Verse 1: The “bread” is the Word of God. The “waters” constitute the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will function only upon the True Word of God, and it is guaranteed to bring home the blessing, whether in few or many days.

Verse 2: The number “seven” is God’s Perfect Number. It refers to His Perfect Salvation, which is “Jesus Christ and Him Crucified” (I Cor. 1:23). The number “eight” pertains to Resurrection, for it was on this day that Christ rose from the dead. If we proclaim the Perfect Gospel of the Cross, “we shall also be in the likeness of His Resurrection,” i.e., “Resurrection Life” (Rom. 6:5).

Verse 3: If the Believer functions according to the Word of God, which means to function according to the Message of the Cross, it really doesn’t matter where the person is, or what the circumstances are, blessings will follow. In other words, the tree can fall toward the south, the north, etc. Wherever it falls, the person can be blessed, but only if they go God’s Way.

Verse 4: The Believer is not to observe circumstances, but rather the Promises of God.

Verse 5: It is not known or understood exactly how a baby grows in its mother’s womb. Likewise, we cannot know exactly how God will bring to pass His Promises, but bring them to pass He definitely shall, that is, if we will believe Him!

Verse 6: We are to sow the seed of the Word of God, not looking at circumstances, but rather continuing to believe the Lord, and then watch God work, even in ways that seem least likely. The Promise is: “Cast your bread upon the waters, for you shall find it after many days” (Eccl. 11:1).”
