Struggling in my relationship wth my husband. We’ve always had a great one but lately it seems we are moving away from each other. I can’t remember the last time he affirmed me or ask how I was doing. Each day is on the surface level and I desire intimacy....not physically speaking. I continue to ask him questions and he answers but that’s about as far as it goes. He used to lways want to get away with me and go on dates, hold hands etc. It’s just a change I’m trying to navigate through it. I pray a lot about it and my heart towards him.

With guys the behavior may come off as cold and impersonal without it actually meaning anything to them. He may be totally unaware that he's effecting you. On the other hand, behavior can also be merely an outward symptom of some kind of emotional pain, worry, or doubts he's having, but isn't sure how to assert his feelings in a healthy way. Get to the root of what's bothering him, explore what has caused a sudden personality change, then you can identify a fix. I will pray for you two. Have a nice day.

First, welcome to The forum. This is the singles forum but we have some long-term members who are married, and married people are welcome to post here. This has evolved into the default cool place to hang out in Christian chat forum.

About your problem... I'm afraid you won't get any good advice from a bunch of single people on this particular matter.

the best thing to do is continue showing Gods love. there is no out of a marriage. so it takes work, and takes prayer,

Relationship boredom occurs when people lose interest in each other and the heart becomes self indulgent. I think you should hold him and kiss him often, there things from there. You might have to keep making the first moves. Sex isnt everything but intimacy is.
