The writer of Hebrews said we are "not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together."
Until we can safely gather together for small group Bible studies, what can we do to engage in small groups in the interim?
I came up with a small list of examples. Please feel free to add your own.
1. Use Facebook Groups for your small group study.

2. Use YouVersion to create an online small group study.

3. Use ProBoards to create an online discussion community.

4. Use group chat (text and audio) to run an online Bible study.

These examples have several things in common.
As in any small group, you need to establish ground rules for sharing. As these are online options, pay particular attention to their privacy policies and privacy safeguards. Remember that anything shared online can be potentially re-shared elsewhere. For example, practice discretion on how to share prayer requests online.
Now - it's your turn. Can you add to the list?

These examples have several things in common.
- They are being used to support small group activities.
- They encourage interaction with other believers while practicing safe social distance - helping to create a sense of community.
- They are Free. Although additional features or uses may require a premium.
- They require very basic technology. Mostly the ability to use an internet browser or a smartphone. No rocket science or programming needed.
