Don’t strain to advocate, justify or explain the Creator in order to try to convince someone to accept Him.
Jesus never receive testimony or glory of men (John 5.34,41), let alone lessen the standard of purity, holiness and judgment of the Creator:
Nobody can ebb away the gravity of the sin:
No one can adulterate the Holy Scripture in order to turn the Creator and His will very delightful to the ears and bring the most quantity of hearers around to join to the religious institution they attend to (2Timothy 4.1-4). Recall that the first sin arise because Ha-Satan was able to lead Eve to believe that the word of the Creator wasn’t exactly what He said:
Many people try to evangelize preaching a complacent God that, in name of Jesus, forgives all sins we commit and blesses and saves us unreservedly. Convert Jesus’ grace into licentiousness (Jude 4) don’t extol the Creator. On the contrary: this only weakens the meaning of all that Jesus did for us on the cross.
If promises like Malachi 4.6 (“And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”) isn’t true, Jesus’ grace fades.
It’s the Creator’s judgment over the sin that make Christ’s sacrifice into something very precious and the sin, very disgusting. We need to accept the idea of what the Creator can’t stand the sin, even if it looks like petty (and the worst it is that, lamentably, some versions of the Holy Scripture weaken this truth written in 1John 3.5-9; 1John 5.18).
If we reject this truth and can’t see the severity of the sin, the sacrifice of Christ is turned into something vain. It is the terrible judgment of the Creator over the sin that turn His gesture of give His only begotten Son to suffer everything that He suffered (in order to have the privilege of being able to save how many people wish to be saved (John 3.16), a demonstration so immensurable and sturdy of love.
It is for being so powerful Jesus’ love that He don’t accept nobody with sin, neither try to spoil anyone, giving up the utter purity and holiness in His Church (Leviticus 20.7; Matthew 5.48; 2Corinthians 13.1; 1Peter 1.16). After all, He knows who He is and who we can be through His spirit actuating within us.
So, have a nice week receiving Jesus in your life as He really is, and not of the way you wish that He is.
