This thread is to talk about pyjamas.
If you dont wear them its ok you can still talk about them.

Im just wondering why pyjamas come in all sorts of prints you would never wear during the day time.

Please state what your pyjamas have on them and have you ever worn them during the day. Why is it taboo to wear pyjamas during the day anyway? They are so comfortable.

If you wear nighties, as I do as well, is that also taboo? Nighties are sometimes easier to wear, just one item, no pesky drawstring or buttons, just slip over the top and you are covered.

Prints Ive had on my pyjamas and nighties. Cats. Sheep. Flowers. Tartan. Bananas. Polka Dots. Comic book panels. Stripes.

When did people start wearing pyjamas..Before pyjamas were invented do you suppose people just wore the clothes they had on to bed or just wrapped themselves up in blankets with no clothes. Flanelette or cotton? and who actually wears onesies??? Confess now.

I wear my cotton jammies
In the summer when it's hot
And I wear my woolen nighties
In the winter when it's not
And sometimes in the spring
And then again sometimes in fall
I jump right in between the sheets
With nothing on at all

Glory glory what's it to ya?
Glory glory what's it to ya?
Glory glory what's it to ya?
If I jump right in between the sheets
With nothing on at all

I never bother with different clothes for bed. I'm already wearing clothes. I just go to bed with those still on.

If it has been a long, hot day and I'm too sweaty to go to bed like that, I take a shower, put on the clothes I'm going to wear tomorrow and go to bed.

My personal opinion is pajamas were invented to get people to buy more clothes they don't need. But that's just imo.

In summer, a tee shirt and shorts, or a night shirt. If it's really hot, nothing except under wear.

In winter, a top and pant set.. If it's really cold I also wear my night robe and slippers to bed..

In all my time on this forum, this is the first time I have ever seen somebody pulling out Bible against sleeping without clothes.

Just when you think you've seen it all...

It does; however, I do not believe that is what it is talking about.

Thats why we wear pyjamas cos He could come in the middle of the night.
Has it ever occurred to you that - at the rapture - everyone that "goes up" to meet Jesus in the air is likely to all be found naked together at the same time?

Do you think anyone will really care?

I am thinking the pajamas would not make it out of the bed.

And -- God can see you naked even when you are fully dressed...

(You may very well be just kidding around; nonetheless, in any case - it seemed worthwhile to interject...)

sorry no.
I am sure Jesus was clothed when he was resurrected and again when he ascended, in revelation we are going to be wearing white robes. Whether they are nighties or dressing gowns I cant really say, but they appear to be comfortable clothes.
Actually God doesnt see us 'naked' he looks into our heart which is INSIDE, hes not looking at our outward appearance or flesh.

I dont know where you get your ideas from, but they seem weird to me.

Whatever, Lanolin. Going forward, I will endeavor to shower with my clothes on to guard against the temptation of sleeping without. I'm outta here.

er...you put your fresh pyjamas on AFTER you shower. Unless you want to wash them at the same time.
Did you get baptised naked?

I have Indianapolis Colts pajamas I wear around the house. To bed, I don't wear anything.

um ok. I worked in a retirement village that had a rule you werent allowed to wear your pyjamas or dressing gown outside of your own apartment.

I dont think they had a rule about not walking round naked but thats just what I heard.

In general pyjamas keep you covered or they keep you warm, so I dont quite understand the wearing nothing going to sleep thing. Do people that do that just never got in the habit of wearing clothes to sleep in? Their parents didnt clothe them? Or is general nudity ok in some families?
