I've recently went through a really difficult break-up after a long term relationship with my boyfriend. I am really struggling and thought being part of a group of people with a common goal in life will be good. I may or may not start a thread about this, but feel free to reach out to me.

Hello @faith_in_him, welcome to CChat :) I'm very sorry to hear about your painful breakup with your boyfriend, but I'm glad that you found us and decided to join in the discussions (as I think that you're right, being part of a Christian group right now is a good thing (y)(y)).

Do you have friends at church that you can talk to/lean on too?

That can be a hard time indeed, sorry you are going through that. In my experience, it can also get you to re-evaluate things in your life and can be a time of great growth, although doesn't feel great at the time.

I'm glad you were Blessed to be among us and be here, no doubt, as a Blessing to us as well. If you want or need to chat, you can type in @BlessedByGod in The Chat Thread and and be happy to chat with you when I can, a bit of a busy lifestyle these days. Do my best to reach out to those that reach out to me as well though.

I just recently broke up with my boyfriend it was very hard but I knew it was leading to a place that would take me further from Christ. And I did not want to disappoint Jesus. So I pray this prayer and I asked my friends to pray this one they’re going through hard times is to ask God to remove that person from our life if he is not good for us. And he quit talking to me. And it’s also happened to some other relationships in the past as well. I think about a race the runners don’t run backwards they run forward towards the prize so try not to look back and keep looking towards Jesus and he will guide you if you let him into your life. We do need to confess our sins and ask him to forgive us and rely on him to get us through. Try not to undo what

Sounds like wisdom to me. Yes, Jesus is indeed the prize. Relationships are, by no means, here to take us further from being with Our Blessed Lord, Savior and King. When I start a new relationship ship, I ask him to open whatever doors he would have opened for us. And whatever doors he would have closed. He would close. The beautiful thing about following Christ is that we can learn and grow in all things if we but listen and hear to he that will never lead us astray from the one true path that leads us home to be with him forever and ever, such a Blessing in all respects! Praise to God you have gotton out of it if you were shown it would lead you away from his side in whatever way...

I've always loved you and the fact you always used cat pictures. Before you get super creeped out, I used to be a member here a while ago and used to talk to you in the threads quite a bit and thought I'd come back since I always felt welcomed here :)
