First U.S. Colleges Close Classrooms as (Corona) Virus Spreads. More Could Follow.

Not that long ago I was having a conversation with someone regarding all the goods and services that are now coming to us, at our homes, rather than we having to go to them.
Restaurants, grocery stores, any retain outlet. And we don't want for entertainment, even if we don't have a TV, because we can watch TV on our computers now.
It's as if we're being encouraged to seclude ourselves from one another. Stay home, life will come to you.

Now we have this virus outbreak. And the fear factor is causing people in Washington and elsewhere to stockpile supplies , planning to stay home and stay safe from the virus risk. And without realizing it as they go to those stores to shop they're at risk. If they have things delivered they're at risk too.
It's just interesting that the growing ability to stay home, seclude ones self from the world, and still survive, even work from home, go to college/university, has grown exponentially over these last few years. And now there's seemingly a reason for people to seclude themselves from the world; Corona virus, world wide.

Yeah it is ridiculous. Over here (Australia) they have run out of toilet paper and hand sanitizer as people are going crazy buying up. Some people are buying it and then posting it overseas. Sigh.......

Governments are pushing the envelope on freedoms we take for granted. Apparently California has granted health departments the power to suspend the Constitution and essentially force people into house arrest:

Sacramento police ordered all residents in a California neighborhood to stay inside on Thursday due to a coronavirus death in the area.
The local health department issued a statement after the police presence in the area.
This is a frightening development.
WIBW reported:

Sacramento County Sheriff deputies and Rocklin Police, some wearing protective gloves, converged on a residential street Thursday as a sheriff’s helicopter circled overhead, ordering people to get inside.

It was later learned that the first California coronavirus patient to die from the illness lived on this block.

The Placer County Health Department issued a brief statement shortly after the police presence, stating: “Law enforcement partners are currently responding to enforce a health officer’s order. We cannot share any additional information to protect patient confidentiality.”

The orders were given under sections of California Health and Safety Code that allows Placer Health to “enforce regulations requiring strict isolation, or quarantine if the action is necessary for the protection of the public health.”

It's California, and no less the state capital. I'll leave it at that.

A lady in her seventies who was suspected of having this virus (was still awaiting test results to confirm) attended a Beethoven concert. Her results have returned as positive and now everyone else who attended this concert is demanding she be charged.

I remember during the first of Trump's campaign, he would repeat each speech something to do with law and order. He'd change the rhetoric, but those keywords were always there. Law and order.
Then he stopped and it has rarely been said since.
When the media politicized this flu virus, you just knew something was up. Sure , the Democrats on the Hill are low, but when they use this as a reason to up their attack on Trump, there's something up. Now, after his speech this evening, the ball is in the court of the House. And of course Pelosi , Schumer, and the usual suspects have said Trump isn't doing enough about this virus. But after the speech tonight, we'll see what they do.

Nice move on his part.
